Terrible experience with these guests. After giving George and Chris a full refund because they didn't like a basement apartment, they failed to cancel their stay through VRBO, leaving my calendar booked with their reservation and preventing any other bookings. In addition, they stayed for one night (completely free of charge) and then left the apartment a complete disaster. Dirty dishes were scattered everywhere, and bacon grease spilled and splashed all over the stove and range hood. George's wife, Chris, was terrible to deal with when trying to explain to her how to secure a refund. She didn't understand, and would repeatedly yell and talk over me, when I tried to explain that VRBO is responsible for the financial part of the transaction and that she would need to reach out to VRBO for a full refund, including VBRO's fees and taxes. She had no understanding of how this platform works when canceling a reservation.
