Wonderful spot to lay your head in Wrangell. Close enough to walk downtown, good layout for guests, big open gathering spaces, beautiful deck and nice yard. Loved staying here for the week.

Wildlife in Wrangell

Good location for a long weekend exploring the amazing Wrangell outdoors. Home was nice, easy walk to town.

Convenience and comfort

Host was very fast to respond. Stayed with an elder who had special requirements. Great communication. Easy check in. Plan on using again in the future.

Honest feedback here: The house was clean and welcoming. It is a nice neighborhood and location to be situated in. The light in the entry did not work (specialty bulb that could not be remedied during our visit). Unfortunately it was the only light in the living room. Perhaps the addition of a lamp would help. Duane, the host was not able to respond quickly to my communication efforts. One surprise upon arrival was the lack of a door on one of the bathrooms. Doors are missing on closets-perhaps those are in the works. Peeling paint in the hall bathtub could use improvement for bathing infants. These are some things that would have been nice to know up front. We loved the campfire area in the yard! The BBQ was not ready for use- cleaning instructions regarding mold would be helpful. Finding a heater unit in each of the bedrooms was a fantastic feature of the home. Overall we had a very positive experience. There was plenty of seating, plenty of dishes and cookware for our group of 8. Duane wished us enjoyment in the rental and we certainly had a good time.

The location was great, within walking distance to downtown. They had everything we needed for a great stay to explore this cute little town! The host was responsive and gave great info on local tours when one of our planned events fell through.
