"Seaside” is a beautifully restored plantation house. It is a charming, coral stone building situated at the water's edge on the western end of Silver Sands beach. This elegant, colonial style house is a striking ocean front property.

House “Seaside” lets you experience the exotic mix , flavor and coziness of the Caribbean, just steps away from Inchcape’s white sand beach and the turquoise water of the Caribbean Sea.

This two bedrooms / two bathrooms unit has an airy, open plan design. Exposed coral stone walls combine with antique and modern furniture to create an atmosphere that is stylish yet thoroughly comfortable. Two French doors lead from the living room onto a spacious patio which is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. An elevated wooden deck, cooled by the gentle trade winds and sheltered by a coconut tree, is perfect spot for alfresco dining or simply relaxing and letting the magnificent panorama of turquoise Caribbean water delight the eyes.
An aura of casual elegance, privacy and cool comfort make "Seaside" a unique holiday home. Nestled within the boundaries of Inchcape in a blissfully private location "Seaside" has the perfect "away from it all" atmosphere. Surrounded by gardens and just a few steps from a magnificent white sand beach it is a natural choice for those who appreciate elegant simplicity.

“Seaside” can accommodate 4 persons in the two bedrooms of the main house and a Seaside Cottage which is also part of the property offers accommodation for 1, 2 or 3 persons.

Although colonial style has been preserved perfectly, House Seaside offers all modern amenities one could ask for in an upmarket property.

Beautiful!

The inchcape villas are amazing, located close to everything. We stayed at the Seaside Villa and the views were breathtaking. The beach was a bit rocky but beautiful! The hosts were nice and helpful. It was truly an amazing vacation.

A Dream Vacation!

The Inchcape villas were a dream come true. We rented the House Seaside which was totally amazing! Very clean, spacious and cozy! The owners were very nice and helpful. The beach is amazing and the views from the terrace were breathtaking! The villas are close to everything. We couldn't have asked for more~~~

Great place to stay!

Everything you read about Inchcape is true! My wife and I stayed in a different location previously and now we will return to Inchcape. Wolfgang and Rosi were always helpful. They gave us the info on great restaurants to visit and when I inquired about booking a deep sea fishing trip, Wolfgang had me set up within the hour. I recommend to anyone considering Barbados, check out Inchcape!

Great stay

All expectations were exceeded at Inchcape. A fantastic stay and base to explore Barbados. Bright, white, breezy rooms, amazing beach access, green grass, flexible room layouts, kitchen, privacy, hammocks, iPod dock, movies ... More? Well, Wolfgang and Rosie are hosts I would now count as friends. They are a wealth of island knowledge, with brilliant suggestions and unbiased recommendations that catered to my every need. Gorgeous historic property, modern amenities, world-class windsurfing!

These Villas are beautiful, unique apartments remodeled and renovated from historic plantation buildings.The location is breathtaking, overlooking the ocean and set in lovely tropical gardens.One of the many charms of these villas is that each is uniquely configured, and most have their own private outdoor areas including gorgeous garden areas and decks with great ocean views. I stayed at Inchcape for three weeks, and had the opportunity to stay in several different units.I would be hard-pressed to pick a favourite, as each had unique and special features; for example, the Seaside Cottages have great lofts with beautiful views; Seaview has a lovely covered balcony; and Coconut enjoys a private garden. Complementing the fascinating historic context and creative interior architecture, the apartments are equipped with all the modern comforts and conveniences including full-sized kitchen appliances, high-speed internet (which always worked!), and TV and sound system. In addition to the apartments’ private outdoor areas, Inchcape also has an extensive beautifully landscaped garden, with a long frontage overlooking the ocean.The whole area is extremely private (gated and fenced, but not intrusively so). The location is perfect for windsurfers / kitesurfers with their own gear, or for anybody wanting to rent equipment (a rental shop is located a 5-minute walk upwind along the beach). As a solo traveler without a rental car, I found this location absolutely perfect – the grounds and apartments at Inchcape were quiet, relaxed, safe, and extremely comfortable; windsurfing gear was available a short walk along the beach; and groceries, fresh fish at the fish market, and fresh produce at locally-run stands were all an easy bus ride away (you don’t need a rental car or taxi to come and go to Oistins from Inchcape. The bus stop is 5 minutes walk up the hill, and taking the #11 van into town is fun, and a good way to get around). The self-catering / full kitchen aspect was a big advantage over a hotel, since eating out seemed quite expensive, but fresh fish at the market was excellent value. The maid service was extremely competent and professional. This is a superbly-run establishment were the staff are proud to work. The owners, Rosi and Wolfgang, are wonderfully welcoming and helpful; they live on-site in their own villa and are always available to help out with local knowledge. I can understand why the majority of their guest are returning clientele

A Wonderful Find

Our stay with friends was terrific!! We rented a car through Wolfgang and explored a lot of the island, but were always thrilled to return to our villa for an afternoon swim and drinks on the porch before cooking our own purchases in Oistins or going out for dinner. The villa was spacious and clean and felt like living in a plantation house. We had breakfast on the porch, even in the rain, which never lasted long. Sometimes we just sat there with a book to relax and soak in the view. Wolfgang and Rosi were very helpful with renting our car, taxis back and forth to the airport, excursion advice and even finding us another villa nearby because we had rented late and they couldn't accommodate us the last night before our departure on a schooner cruise. It was a wonderful experience and this place is perfect if you're willing to rent a car or travel by taxi.

We fell in love with Inchcape and the island

We fell in love with Inchcape and the island An idyllic apartment and resort for those who like a little independence yet everything within easy reach if needed. Rosi and Wolfgang do a fabulous job running and managing this lovely beach front property. The apartment we rented, House Courtyard, is spacious and clean with all the amenities required. With 5 of us staying, the 3rd bed in the second bedroom was perfect for us. The resort is great for everybody, but especially for all watersports and golf enthusiasts as well as those who like to spot monkeys! It felt like staying at a private villa. Chicken Reta’s and Surfers Bay are the local restaurants to hang out. Barbados as a destination is perfect. Out of all the places we visited across the world, Barbados impressed us the most and we're all up for returning. The beaches are amazing, there are lots of activities and fantastic weather, friendly people and last but not least, there are the Inchcape Seaside Villas which we will truly miss and come back to.

Fantastic property

This was the best choice we could have possibly made. Everything about Inchcape has been beyond our expectations. Rosi & Wolfgang were great hosts, the maids were friendly and accommodated all our wishes, I loved to speak to Barton the gardener and Inchcape’s dog Peanut adopted us for the time we stayed there. The villas have fully equipped kitchens and with the Oistins fish market just a few minutes away, fresh fish was on our menue not only once. The restaurants recommended by Rosi & Wolfgang were very good and I can only advise to listen to their suggestions. Silver Sands Beach is one of many beautiful beaches in Barbados, but it feels like your own private beach. Barbados has a great package, good climate, friendly people, beautiful beaches, good food, many good reasons to come back again.

Great place to stay

We have just spent 2 weeks at Inchcape and I can only recommend it highly. Just a few more days and my best vacation ever will come to an end. The Inchcape Seaside Villas are simply amazing! Words like intimate, elegant, stylish, relaxed can only try to describe what a wonderful property this is. It’s great value for money, has very friendly staff and owners, the location is paradise on earth. It's set on a beautiful beach with great swimming and surfing. Basic things like room service and maid service are very non-intrusive. Very useful was Inchcape’s in house brochure with a list of restaurants they recommend. You can trust their advice, they know what they are talking about. The local restaurants near by like Surfer’s Bay and Chicken Reta’s as well as the Oistins fish market, serve delicious food and are never crowded enough to be uncomfortable. Inchcape’s WIFi is fantastic, fast and reliable and also complementary. I stayed almost 3 weeks and when I leave from here,I have to admit, it wasn't long enough. It's a perfect spot for almost anybody. I'll be back soon!

A Wonderful Stay

Outstanding! Unforgettable! These are just a few adjectives to describe this beautiful hidden gem on the island of Barbados. The Inchcape Seaside Villas are just that – the best hidden secret of Barbados. We so enjoyed the understated elegance that surrounded and captivated us for thirteen magical days and nights. We arrived with open minds and what we received far exceeded our expectations. The natural beauty outside, panoramic ocean view, rhythms of the waves and the cooling breezes of the trades washed over us day and night. West-Indian architecture, decor and design allowed the island’s beauty to saturate our senses with peace and tranquility. The owners met all of our needs quietly and discreetly. The maid service was excellent. We felt pampered all the time we were there. After having traveled the Caribbean extensively, we rate both the island of Barbados our favorite island and we intend to return as soon as possible.

Dream location, paradise beach, stunning accommodation I just returned from a wonderful trip to Barbados where we stayed at the Inchcape Seaside Villas on Silver Sands Beach. My boyfriend had been here before and this was my first trip. I fell in love with the place the moment we arrived and everything about Inchcape and Barbados was beyond what I had expected. Inchcape delivered big time

The pictures did not lie. The Inchcape Seaside Villas were of a very high standard with everything you could want ... as long as tranquility is part of what you are looking for. The views from the terrace were superb and the option of the housemaid would be ideal for the VERY lazy holidaymaker. The fantastic climate at Inchcape ensured a good nights sleep without acs or even fans (they do have fans just in case) so that you were ready each day to relax on one of the veranda areas. Prior to arriving we were given plenty of information on the best way to arrive. Wolfgang, the manager, arranged the airport pick up and drop back to the airport, and he also gave us plenty of information on restaurants and sightseeing. The beach at the villas is beautiful. I would recommend having a rental car. It is essential for the trips to the supermarket and restaurants and also a proper sightseeing. Another nice feature is Inchcape’s connection to the Royal Westmoreland Golf course, a strictly private country club, where Inchcape’s guests can play golf and use the other facilities at a member guest fee. Come to chill with the Bajans. The island is friendly but not so cheap. I would totally recomend a villa at Inchcape if you want a little bit more relaxed freedom than a hotel.

The Caribbean Dream

We stayed 8 nights and 9 days in a seaside cottage at Inchcape Appartments with Rosi and Wolfgang. We are so happy that we found this place. It is unbelievably beautiful, luxurious, clean, cosy, with every feature you are looking for and Rosi and Wolfgang are just amazingly friendly and helpful. There is absolutely nothing we could complain about. Silver Sands beach is a stone throw away, you can go windsurfing, if the swell is good you will find a wave there as well, if not there - you will find it somewhere else on the island. Only recommendation, you should have a car to get around. Oistins is a 5 minutes drive away, where you have a supermarket, the best food you could imagine and the famous fish market with its legendary friday nights! We would always pick again the south cost as our base on the island, and for sure we definitely would choose Inchcape Appartments again as our holiday location the next time we go there! Inchcape Seaside Villas - Simply Wonderful

We had our most perfect vacation ever. The island of Barbados is one of the better places on earth in every respect. The natives are friendly, the food is good, the infrastructure fantastic for an island paradise and the waters around this coral island are amongst the most beautiful on earth. Inchcape is a wonderful tourist rental property, more like a high class private estate, situated on an uncrowded white sand beach. The staff was delightful, helpful and went the extra step to make us feel special.

Exactly what I was looking for...

For my stay in Barbados, I wanted a quiet location, on a beach, with tropical breezes, and the sound of surf, while still being close to places to eat. Wolfgang's place fit the bill exactly.
