Welcome to Duck Creek Village at 8500 ft!
In winter, our cabins offer a serene escape, but preparation is key for a safe journey. Here`s what you need to know:
Before you set off:
1. Get real-time road conditions and weather updates with Utah`s UDot app and Wunderground`s website (zip code 84762).
2. Plan your travel wisely and avoid winter storms.
Once snow arrives:
‱ Highway 14 may have snow, and our gravel roads will be snowy. A 4x4 or AWD vehicle is required, with chains recommended.
‱ Snow removal is prioritized, but please keep in mind that we contract with snowplow companies who only plow after 6” or more of snow for driveways, and they will prioritize guests who check in or check out first, followed by groups who are mid stay.
‱ Power outages are rare, but if they occur, contact management and we will provide an update on the situation promptly.
Keep in mind:
‱ Nighttime arrivals may find limited services, so plan accordingly.
‱ While we`re a small village, we`re here to ensure your winter adventure is memorable and safe.

My wife thought the cleanliness was below average. She did extra vacuuming and wiping down counter tops after arrival. The listing is not clear stating 4 bathrooms when there is 3.5. D

Fun Christmas Time

We were looking forward to sledding near the cabin like we have done in the past but this property is in more flat ground. We reached out to the property manager the day we were leaving to ask if there was a hill near the cabin (or even snow which there wasn’t) to see if we should bring a sled but they didn’t get to us until the following afternoon so not super quick respond. We did end up bringing sleds that we didn’t use but that’s ok. There was also no snow on the dirt road this year which was probably good since there is a really big incline hill before you get to this property. They do tell you to have 4 wheel drive or chains but even with those I would have been a bit scared going up that one steep incline (my husband probably would think it was fun with snow). The cabin itself is beautiful. Beds were comfortable and the family loved the space and the pool table. It was very clean except for a few ceilings cobwebs. It felt very cozy and Christmas. The kitchen was well stocked. The family had a great time at this cabin!
