The space
Villa Panichi is an old stone villa surrounded by olive trees on the slopes of the hill of Mammi (379 m asl) along a panoramic street that leads to the Pass of La Foce, overlooking the beautiful Valle di Chio, with impressive views of the town of Castiglion Fiorentino and the castle of Montecchio.
The villa is ideal for families and group of friends: its layout guarantees privacy and comfort (one bathroom for each standard bedroom). A large dependance facing the pool hosts a well equipped kitchen and dining room. A BBQ is available as well as an outdoor dining space.
The pool is large 10m x 5m with a depth of 1.20 m and 2.20 m. An outdoor shower is available.
The square can accommodate up to 5 cars and is closed with automatic gates. The linen is part of the service offered to the guests.
The town of Castiglion Fiorentino, just 2 km from the house, offers all the services: supermarkets, pharmacies, shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, pizzerias, museums. In Castiglion Fiorentino there were recently found rests of an Etruscan Temple that are now in the town museum. The inestimable beauty of the Vasari's loggias and the Town Tower wait for you in the little historic center of the city.
Walking up Via della Foce you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Val di Chiana, the villa and the town.
Castiglion Fiorentino is easily reached by train from either Florence or Rome.
In Castiglion Fiorentino there were filmed some scenes of Life is Beautiful by Benigni. Along the street leading to Castiglion Fiorentino you will admire the statue that was dedicated to the actor after the Oscars.
