1 bedroom/1 bathroom condo in Surfside Beach. 2nd floor (must climb stairs)

Great central location and close to all the Grand Strand has to offer: championship golf courses, excellent restaurants, entertainment, fishing, shopping, medical facilities, not too far from the Myrtle Beach International Airport, Marsh-Walk and the beautiful beaches of the Grand Strand. Use this as your vacation location at Surfside Beach!



The Space:

*1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, Cozy condo.

*1 King bed, 1 pullout sofa in the living room. *Washer/dryer available in unit.

*Kitchen is fully equipped with all basics (condiments are not available)

*Dining area open to living room.

*Sheets and linens provided.

*Free WiFi and cable TV.

*Pets are not allowed.

*Beach items are not included due to damage/loss of these items.

*Towels are provided for showers only.



Guest Access:

*The condo is rented in full. Guests have access to the entire place. Owners are not on the premises while guests are staying.

* No mailbox for this location.

* Only 1 parking spot available.

*Pool access with access card only. There is a $50 charge for each lost or broken card.

* motorcycles, trailers and golf carts are not allowed on premises.

6 week stay

I didn’t complain to the property owner while I was there but wanted to give an honest review for people looking to stay. The pictures online don’t show you the black mold in the vents. She did warn me they had minimal kitchen supplies and towels so I brought my own. Only two burners on the stove were working. The couch is not comfortable for a long stay. The pool and location were fine. I couldn’t open the sliding glass door to the patio and that is a fire hazard.

Points faibles : Propreté, emplacement et exactitude de l’annonce.
Worst place we have ever stayed. The unit was dirty when we arrived. I let the host know and she said “my cleaner is usually good” the vents were COVERED in mold right above the bed and in the kitchen. The maintenance person came out at 11pm and tried to clean the vents but said they needed replaced. The entire unit feels like it is falling in, the door to the patio won’t close so it lets the bugs in (in the 4 nights we were there I found 3 bugs crawling on me in bed) the floor is damaged and was not put in correctly. The ceiling fan lights were disgusting. The shower feels like you are going to fall through the floor to the unit below. The kitchen is barely equipped. The door to the unit does not have a safety lock from the inside, had to put a chair under the door handle to make sure no one could get in. It was NOT worth the money we paid per night.

I apologize that your experience was disappointing. I want to assure you that cleanliness is a top priority, and I regret that the unit did not meet those standards during your stay. Regarding the mold in the vents, I immediately arranged for maintenance to address the issue once you notified me, and I will continue to look into these concerns to improve the property. The door to the patio and the overall condition of the unit are also being reviewed to ensure safety and functionality. The kitchen is stocked with basic essentials, and I apologize if it did not meet your expectations.
