Indulge in relaxation, adventure, or the perfect blend of both at our modern A-Frame cottage nestled on a lush one-acre wooded lot. Enjoy deeded access to private beaches minutes away on Lake Huron. We are ideally situated between East Tawas and Oscoda, and you'll find a variety of options for delightful activities.

For those seeking a charming town experience, venture to East Tawas and explore Newman Street, offering an array of dining and shopping opportunities. Treat yourself to ice cream from Marions and a leisurely stroll on the pier. Alternatively, head to Oscoda and access the breathtaking Au Sable River for activities such as fishing, tubing, and kayaking, or a scenic drive through the Huron-Manistee National Forest.

Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to hiking, ORV, and cross-country ski trails, an outdoor skatepark, and serene rivers and lakes, including the East Branch of the Au Gres River and Round Lake—perfect for fishing enthusiasts. Boat rental options nearby allow for exploration on Lake Huron, the magnificent "Big Lake."

If you prefer a more tranquil experience, enjoy our deeded access to private beaches on Lake Huron at three convenient locations just minutes from the cottage. Or if you prefer, check out the expansive public beach in Oscoda, or unwind at Tawas State Park, featuring a picturesque lighthouse, hiking trails, and public beaches.

The cottage's backyard has a large built in firepit perfect for roasting marshmallows after a day at the beach and is enclosed by a six-foot-tall fence, enhancing its pet-friendly charm. Inside, a spacious kitchen with an island awaits, fully equipped with a variety of cooking tools for culinary adventures. The vintage oven, boasting four burners and two ovens, adds character to the space.

Recent upgrades, including a new well in 2023, ensure optimal water pressure and great-tasting water. For those with specific preferences, a water cooler is also available.

As day turns to night, cozy up by the vintage Preway fireplace indoors or gather around the outdoor firepit, stocked with an ample supply of firewood. Whether it's a tranquil evening or a spirited gathering, the cottage offers a welcoming retreat for all.

Amazing stay with everything you could need for a getaway in Tawas. Beautiful property, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and close to everything.As new parents, we also loved how baby-friendly the cabin was. We'd love to stay here again next time we visit.

Beautiful A-Frame exceeds Expectations!

This beautiful A-Frame cottage was clean, updated, very accommodating and beautifully decorated. Perfectly located near downtown and local beaches. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!

This was the most beautiful and exceptionally clean property at which I have ever stayed. I truly appreciated the high-end finishes and added comforts provided by the owners, including cold filtered water for the duration of my stay. The beds were super comfy and, with a ceiling fan in each room, the property was well-ventilated and cool in the warmer temps. The owners were responsive for any logistical questions that I had. Lovely property.

A-Frame in the woods.

On a recent trip to visit family, we had the opportunity to stay at this lovely property. It worked well for us and our pet Aspen. We would certainly visit again!

Beautiful cottage in a private setting!

The listing for this property doesn't do it justice. The amenities available for guests is too numerous to list. Everything you need is there, from beach towels to a crock pot. The home is immaculate and beautifully decorated. We felt welcomed, safe, and had all the privacy needed for a wonderful vacation.

Beautiful home, great location!

We loved the home. Set back and semi secluded. Very clean and nicely decorated. The house has everything that you need for your stay. It was pretty cool to stay in an A-frame house. If you bring your dog, the backyard being fenced in was a big plus for us. Nice fire pit area with seating. The location was great. Your less than 15 minutes to East Tawas and Oscoda. Really cool little towns with some nice parks on the lake to visit. The host was very helpful and prompt to return any questions that we had. We really had a great time and are looking forward to staying here again.

Everything i Expected and More

Very clean, the owner went the extra mile to ensure all the little extras were on site. The record player was a pleasant surprise. Location was optimal for us, splitting the difference between the nature attractions of the Au Sable river/Huron national forest and the small town atmosphere of Tawas and beaches on Lake Huron.( about 7 minutes from both. Oscoda and Tawas) Will definitely return. Looking forward to coming up for the Fall colors. Thank you to the Host
