This is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home. You and your family and friends will have access to the whole house except the garage. Please remember you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7. We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its condition for future guests and your return visits.

The area has numerous excellent hiking trails, snow skiing, snowmobiling and ATV trails are abundant. We are located right on the ATV trail. Access to the area is very easy, only 20 minutes off of Interstate 90/94 and larger town of Black River Falls with many options for shopping and eating.

Additional local adventures includes Lake Arbutus, Lake Wazee Recreational and Scuba Diving, and Levis Mound Trail Center.

Perfect little getaway

We wanted to stay somewhere to getaway from our busy life’s and celebrate a birthday. This property was perfect for what we wanted. The house was very cute and cozy. We loved all the games/hot tub. We had a blast . The owner’s respond fast and were very nice! We wished we booked more days to experience some of the activities the property offers that we couldn’t fit Into our short stay.

Worst weekend ever

Shortly after arrival realized the heat was not turning on or working. Tried to contact the owners and no response. Spoke with them the next afternoon and she told us to haul wood in from outside and just use the fire burner in the living room. It was so cold we had to camp out right in front of it all night and most of the next day.contacted the property owner AGAIN that day stating i wouldnt have paid these rates for a cabin with no heat and i requested my money back so i could use it to find a place to stay in that area (3 hours from home in the woods!) She processed a PARTIAL refund after we spoke and told me it would be 5-7 days. After that she messaged about 30 minutes later asking how we were settling in. We had left the residence and upon arrival back my phone started going off. I had VRBO connect me with the owner on the phone and right off the bat this lady started yelling and being completely rude. I could not get a word in and she told me if i didnt leave the property immediately that she was calling the cops. She gave me 10 minutes to pack my things and get out of there knowing I needed the funds i invested into this stay in order to not be stranded. This was the 1 yearly vacation that i get (single mom) Saturday was my 1 day of vacation to do whatever i wanted and really enjoy myself. This trip was highly necessary for my mental health and I had plans with friends i hadnt seen in 25 years. She acted like it was my fault and ruined my entire trip.

Tia and her guest complained about the furnace not working and we called the propane company to do checkup. However, since it is on the weekend, a Saturday, the propane company cannot come out immediately so I offered for them to use the fireplace in the mean time. Tia replied back that she paid too much money to stay in my cabin without heat so she will need to look for another accommodation. I offered her a full refund for the inconvenience so she can look for another place. Tia along with her two friends left my property and then came back to my cabin. They did not leave after I had given her a full refund. I called VRBO support to contact Tia. Tia had no intentions of leaving my cabin and property after I had refunded her. Due to her speaking with VRBO and acknowledged refund will take 5-7 days for the refund to go through, she would not leave the premise because she had no where else to go and no money to book another place. VRBO recommended that if they will not leave the premise, for me to call the police. I spoke with Tia on the phone and she said there is a misunderstanding. I do not believe there is any miscommunication since I have already refunded Tia fully and need them to leave my cabin since my cleaner is there to clean my cabin. Tia mentioned she will leave a bad review for me. Clearly, Tia had stayed for 1 Free Night already and attempted to "try" to stay another Free night. On another rental platform, I have 19+ reviews (all good reviews at 4.9 stars) and you can go read those reviews. Never had to deal with a guest not leaving my property and trying to get free stays without paying! Other hosts should steer clear from this renter who will complain and try to get free stays.
