Perfect little spot

We have booked this house the last couple of years for our weekend in Brenham and it is wonderful! The house is so cute, it is in a very nice neighborhood, and very close to downtown. The experience from booking the house all the way through checking out is amazing. We will never stay anywhere else when we are in Brenham as long as this perfect little spot is available!

Very Clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive and checked in. The neighborhood was pleasant. We loved sitting on the porch and watching the cars go by. There was an animal smell and we had to deal with that the whole time we were there. I did report this and hopefully for the future some rat boxes to contain decaying animals.

Weekend stay

We stayed at this house while in town for a stockshow and the house was perfect. It is located in a nice neighborhood and the house was very well kept. We will definitely stay here again!

No Hot Water, issued unresolved by owner during stay.Lack of hot water discovered at 8:30 pm and immediately reported to owner. Owner replied, "issue escalated to maintenance team." Refused to correct issue that evening and told "five previous guests had no water problems." It was a one-night rental, and we had no access to hot water for duration of stay. Owner assured "a fair refund". One week later, several delays and assurances, no refund has been extended. Further information: Prevalent black mold seen in shower stall while attempting use. Owner phone number listed in guest manual not in service. Owner manual lists request for use of black washcloth for makeup removal and white washcloth use for other. No black or white washcloths found in sole restroom on property.Very disappointing experience. Do not recommend.
