Perfect Weekend Getaway

My fiancée and I rented Tanya's place for a Christmas getaway weekend and it was perfect. Super private studio apartment w/ all the basics. The area is really quiet and serene - perfect place to check out of LA for a few days and reset. Definitely going to keep this on my favorites list. Thanks, Tanya!

A world away in Topanga Canyon

My husband and I can not say enough about our stay in Topanga Canyon. The view was amazing every morning when we had our coffee in bed or on the bistro set outside our glass doors. To be able to hike in the state park just minutes from this home was a huge plus. Our daughter joined us for a few days at the end of our 10 days and the extra bed prepared for her was so inviting and comfortable. Thank you, thank you for a quite, beautiful and peaceful stay. We will definitely be back for this fabulous escape from our busy schedules!

It was like being in Tuscany

Great getaway from the madding crowd, a most magical setting in Topanga Canyon, with a terrace over the canyon that is splendid, like being in the Tuscan hills of Italy. Our host Tanya was so lovely and hospitable, made sure we had every little thing we needed to be even more comfortable. Topanga feels like a world away but is 15 mms. from Malibu, Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades...perfect location! Bed was extremely comfy, sweet little kitchen with all the necessities and a Nespresso coffee maker too!

Quiet Getaway

This rental is perfect for a couple or individual looking to get away. It's quiet, secluded, and offers beautiful views. The town of Topanga is easily accessible with shops and a few restaurants, but within a 20 minute drive you're in the heart of Malibu. We loved it and would definitely go back!

The guest house was very clean, quiet surroundings and comfortable bed. Perfect for a couples getaway. Kitchen has everything we needed to make breakfast (we were out for other meals). Would definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

Topagna Canyon Guesthouse

This guesthouse was exactly what my husband and I expected, because it was well represented on the VRBO. Our host was very friendly, made sure we had what we needed and gave us all the privacy we could ask for. The guesthouse was comfortable, clean and the canyon view is spectacular. We would definitely rent this property again and enjoyed the close access to the state park trails

Memorable

I stayed for a month on my own. The Farkas are very welcoming and will make sure you have everything you need. The studio is clean and the landscape is absolutely fantastic! It's in the middle of the mountains, but a few miles from the beaches, the valley and the LA action. Plenty of mountain trails all around the area. The best of everything... I fell in love with Topanga.

We enjoyed our stay in Topanga. It reminded us of Tuscany. The views from the cottage and scenic drives were incredible. The home owners were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and Peaceful Place to Unwind

What a beautiful and peaceful place to get away to. I just live in Orange County, but I felt a world away here. The views are amazing, it's quiet, and the pool was very relaxing. I would highly recommend this property. The owners were very welcoming and I hardly even knew they were there.

What an amazing place !!

Me and my wife and 17 month old daughter stayed in this great guest house. And we had the best time. Tanya & Craig are perfect hosts - their guesthouse is wonderfully designed. It oozes of great taste and the studio is a pleasant to live and work in. THE VIEW !! - is something you have to see to believe it. This could be mountains in Italy. Spain. France. but still you are close to everything that L.A, Santa Monica, Malibu & Venice has to offer. We can only recommend this place from the bottom of our hearts !! Best Johan / Maria / Florence

Paradise in the Canyon!

My husband and I have stayed here several times with our dog. This modern guesthouse is located on one of the best streets in Topanga - a quiet, private dead-end road full of lush landscaping and friendly horses in their corrals poking their heads out to greet you as you stroll along. The guesthouse itself features amazing canyon views, is clean and modern, with a super comfy bed and the amenities you need to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. Great pool and hot tub. The owners are incredibly lovely and accommodating, very laid back and easy going. I highly recommend it!

peaceful and amazing place!

This beautiful guest house is the perfect place where to spend time to relax and have a break. Topanga Canyon is something you don't expect coming from chaotic LA. It's just about ten minutes from Santa Monica and from the beach but you are completely immersed in a nature reserve far from traffic and noise! The guest house is modern and high tech, completely furnished with any kind of equipment you may need and at the same time it's so close to nature. When you open the main door it's very easy you have a face to face with a nice squirrel or a small hare. The swimming pool is probably the best pool I've ever seen. While you relax in the heated jacuzzi or swimming in the pool, you have this amazing view of the Topanga Canyon. We had also the opportunity to meet Farkas family and we loved them. They has been really helpful, suggesting us which place to visit in Topanga and inviting us to spend time with them and their kind friends. At the same time they very respectful of our privacy. We felt as we were spending time in our own home not as guest. I would strongly recommend everybody to spend holidays in this amazing place. We loved it.

Great vacation

We stayed here once for 10 and once for 7 days.And were able to reach everything conveniently with our rental car. The description is accurate, the " Topanga " experience priceless.The views from the guesthouse are really beautiful and we loved sitting out there with our morning coffee. The pool is great. We loved the jacuzzi and bought one for our home right after we came back :). The place is clean and well maintained. We used the maid service as well. The owners are so nice and helpful. We were able to speak german - our own language with them and that made things very easy. I would definitely recommend this property. Sitting here you really can invasion yourself writing a novel:) Our favorite is that Thai Beach restaurant right down the hill at Topanga Beach. Very nice food. Still dreaming of that. All in all such a great experience. As your see, we came back. :)
