Cette charmante propriété d'une chambre + den à The Woodrun Lodge a subi de nombreuses rénovations et mises à niveau et est un favori toute l'année pour les familles.

Le Woodrun Whistler bénéficie d'un emplacement imbattable au pied des pistes, directement sur la montagne Blackcomb, et de superbes installations comme une piscine sur les pentes et le plus grand spa de Whistler, une salle d'exercice bien équipée et un confortable salon. This is third time staying on Blackcomb and find the ski in/out area probably the best in Whistler.The Woodrun building is my favorite of the stays. The unit we stayed in had in unit laundry and included a parking spot. The place was furnished better than the other places. Only detractor was a smallish bedroom with bunk bed. Place was very well equiped, would stay there sgain over other places.

Perfect family stay

Our 2nd time staying in this unit in 2 years. A great family friendly unit. Fully stocked, clean and quiet. Recent upgrades are nice and make the stay even more enjoyable .

Our condos location would be better during winter when you could actually ski-in/ ski out. The Blackholm side of the mountain was closed so a place in the village would have been easier. The pool area was closed for the season but we had access to the pool and hot tub at the next building over so it wasn’t a big deal.

This was our first stay in this particular unit and it met all our expectations. It was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The bunk bed is great for kids, not super comfortable for adults but the bed was great. We did not use the pull out couch. Quiet views looking out to the forest. We will definitely be back.

Great location, cosy place

We loved the location. It’s older style but clean and comfy. Kitchen is great with big oven and cook top. Second bedroom has no windows and is small but after dark didn’t notice it. The painful part was collecting the key/swipe down in the village. We caught a shuttle from the airport and they take you straight to accomm. One of us jumped out near the village and had to collect key and catch a bus to accomm. Delayed getting into our accomm. Would stay at Woodrun again but not through Whistler Superior if you don’t have a car to do the pick up.

Very Dissappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Before filling out this review I reached out to the rental company to advise of my concerns,they have not responded.We arrived Friday Sept 13 , we saw a sign about the hot tub being out of order . We inquired at the front desk how long it was down for, no one knew but they were going to find out and let us know . Nobody contacted us to let us know , every time we went by the front desk we would ask again, we also asked if there was another one close by we could use. We were told they would find out and get back to us , again we heard nothing . This went on Friday and Saturday , we called the main check in desk Saturday evening after dinner to ask the same questions, after we called a second time they said we could drive down from our condo and use the one in the main building if we wanted to . We specifically booked the Woodrun property because of the hot tub and location to the Spartan venue (I was told it was much closer than it turned out to be ) Our group required the hot tub to relax and help recover from each day of racing in the cold . Had we known there was not a working hot tub we would not have booked here . In our unit we also had some issues, the king size bed was 2 twin beds pushed together , there was a ridge between them which caused a very uncomfortable sleep. When we pulled out the sofa bed the bar was bent and we had to fix it to get it out . The "Den" is just a large closet , the ladder to get onto the top bunk was inaccessible because it was up against the wall. This unit needs some TLC before renting it out again. Between having to fix a bed before one of our guests could sleep on it, not being able to access the top bunk , the uncomfortable ridge in the middle of the "king" bed and not having a working hot tub it made for a very disappointing stay. It was my birthday as well and having to deal with all these issues made it an unenjoyably trip. People need to be aware of what to expect before booking this unit.

Dear Shelley, thank you for taking the time to submit your review. As explained at check-in, the front desk at The Woodrun Lodge doesn't manage this specific property. This is likely the reason why nobody from there was able to contact you regarding your concerns with the hot tub closure. We were first made aware of the hot tub being shut down when you contacted our office on Saturday evening and spoke to our staff in an extremely rude and angry way. Shortly after that call, we received a call from The Woodrun desk to advise us that our guest had been "constantly yelling at them" about the unexpected hot tub closure. To be frank, we don't appreciate our front line staff being treated in that manner. A respectful approach would certainly have provided a different end result to your complaints and request for compensation.

Deceptive Listing

The location of the property was great, and the look of the place was great at first glance, but the place turned out to be dingy and run down (you could feel the age of it). The main room was nice but pushing to twins together should not count as a king bed. The second room felt more like a storage room that had a bed thrown into it. It had no windows or ventilation of any kind and had no space to move around.

Ok for short stay

Large space for family, quiet location. Checkin was fast and easy. The shower head in the ensuite was broken along with the closet door in the main hallway. The bunk bed made so much noise that we xould not use it or sleep on it. On check in day we were told the pool was down for maintenance. Wiith 2 kids this was a main reason for booking. We were offered to use a pool in the main village which was nice but inconvenient. We then got a water shutoff nitice for a day.. The cupboards were stocked but only had 3 drinking glasses which was a pain for 4 people.

Good budget option

Obviously Woodrun is a great place with a prime location. It’s truly ski in ski out. This particular place is shown as 1.5 bedroom. The 0.5 is a set of bunk beds in a very small room. The 1 bedroom is really two beds that can be pushed together for a bigger bed sort of. The unit is set up to accommodate larger groups in a small space. That means a lot of furniture in the common areas. That was a little inconvenient for a group of 4. The family room furniture is not very comfortable. The cleanliness was manageable. We had to rewash the dishes and clean the kitchen counters. There’s really no food storage if you bring groceries beyond the refrigerator and coat closet. I’d recommend bringing any seasonings you need as well as coffee filters and spatula. There are tons of dishes but they are sort of random. We had a good time. Skiing was fantastic.

Nice but not a 2 bedroom

The place was well kept and good location. Should not be advertised as a 2 bedroom. It is a one bedroom with bunkbeds squeezed into a storage room. We could not put 2 adults in this room, so I had to sleep on the couch for the duration of the trip. Also, when we arrived, we had to phone the number on the door to get the keys. We got an angry person that was telling us how many properties he had to deal with. We just said the name and explained that is what the message on the door said to do ... call them.

We do market this property as a "1 bedroom + den" as we understand that these dens are not large and don't have a window. Perfect Family Condo

The location of the condo is perfect it’s close to everything. Very quiet building nice big pool and big hot tub . Cozy gas fireplace and a cute balcony for fresh air . Comfy Master Bedroom with en-suite . The second bathroom and junior bedroom was perfect .

Great location, great building

This is a great unit in a great location. There is really easy access to the village walking down the ski slope to the village, yet it's quiet. Looks like it would be really great for ski-in, ski-out. Super clean, and the first unit on this trip that had a dishwasher - yay! A couple of things to keep in mind. We arrived just after the record-breaking temperatures - Whistler is not used to these, and few properties have any air conditioning. This one doesn't either, which normally doesn't matter, and it's shaded by trees. But the whole building had heated up, and it took a couple of days to cool There were two box fans in in the unit which were really appreciated - probably emergency ones from someone's basement somewhere - not complaining, we were lucky to have anything! - but families with smaller kids would have been concerned about broken guards etc. If the climate continues to warm up kid-safe fans would be good. The other thing is the den / second bedroom. I didn't read the description carefully enough, or properly interpret the pictures. What you see with the bunk bed in the pictures is very fair, that's exactly how it is set up. What I didn't realize was that there's no window in the picture because there is no window in that room, in some units I'd guess it might be used more as a storage room. With the unusual heat and mainly the fan to circulate some air it was pretty hot - again not a problem in the winter. Also of interest to parents it seems that the 'bathroom' style locking doorhandle is installed backwards on the door, so it's possible to lock kids in unless they know how to use the safety release on a bathroom doorhandle. Especially when there is no window either, it might be tempting... but obviously not a good idea. As a really large, comfortable one-bedroom place, very clean and pretty well-equipped, with loads of room in the living room for the sofa bed, and two bathrooms, it's excellent. Just keep in mind based on your needs for that second bedroom, it might or might not be the perfect match for you.

The Bed the in the main bedroom was described as a King bed. It is not a King bed. It is 2 twins beds put together. I am 5'6 and my Husband 6'2. Both of us were too tall for the bed with our feet hanging off each night. The ski locker room is convenient but the lock itself does not work consistently. The ski locker room could use and update.

Rating Details: I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was very dirty. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very dissapointed in the condition of the condo. Garbage left in closet, carpets very dirty, food found under table, moths dead along floor by windows. We would not let our grandson play in the condo since the carpets were so dirty.
