Cozy 4 BR Ski Retreat next to slopes at Massanutten Resort.

Massanutten is an amazing place to turn off the technology and remember what it is like to be a kid again while making memories with your family. Whether it is snow skiing, snow tubing, water park, golf, pool, sauna, gym or spa there is something for everyone. Everyone will have a good time and you will see why this is the number one place for my family to vacation. You can find other properties on the mountain but only Summit allows you to walk to the slopes.

Our condo has a 2BR apartment with a full kitchen. There is also another identical model downstairs that you can get a separate key for entry. Both have a king bedroom, a room with two twins and a pull out sofa bed in the living rooms. The only difference between the two floors is the downstairs does not have a stove. Instead of a stove it has a hot plate, plug in burners and a propane grill on the deck. The deck on the top unit is enclosed while the one on the bottom is open because of the grill. There is a step hallway between each unit that includes a shared washer and dryer.

The resort offers tremendous opportunities for fun.
Skiing is our family favorite although my children love the snow tubing. There is also a waterpark that is their second favorite and I enjoy the two golf courses. There is also opportunities to complete an escape room or paint and sip art classes, spa, go carts, indoor golf, and NBA Legend Ralph Sampson camp parts of the year but these have separate fees. However, our guest do get access to the two indoor and outdoor pools, the two gyms, Sauna, two racquetball courts, tennis or pickle ball courts and full size basketball court.

There are also plenty of opportunities for dining, shopping on the mountain or visiting nearby Harrisonburg home of James Madison University.

The resort picks the exact unit you stay in during check in so I can’t promise you exactly which unit you will get for your stay but it will certainly be within walking distance of the slopes. There is also a daily resort fee that is currently $14 per day total.
