Das Angel Fire Haus is your family getaway close to the lake and hiking. This 4-bedroom, 3-bath house sleeps up to 12. It is walking distance to Monte Verde Lake and the Cougar trail, less than 10 minutes' drive (3.8 miles) to the ski base area, and 6 minutes (2.5 miles) to the Angel Fire Resort Country Club. The first-floor entry opens into the living room, which features a wood-burning fireplace, a smart TV, and comfortable seating for 7. The deck is accessed from the living room and is a great space to relax and enjoy the parade of wildlife. The dining room and kitchen are open to the living room; the dining room seats 8, with an additional 4 seats at the kitchen counter. The kitchen has been redone and is fully equipped, including a dishwasher and a gas range, as well as a Keurig coffeemaker. Also on the first floor are a full bath with a shower/tub combo and a connecting bedroom with a king bed.
The second floor has a spacious landing that overlooks the living room, with a game table that seats four and an easy chair nearby. There is one bath on this level, with dual sinks and a shower/tub combination. There are two bedrooms, each with a private balcony; one has a king bed, the other has two queen beds.
The ground floor has a game room featuring a pool table and a seating area with a smart TV and 3-seater sofa. It opens to the patio and then to the backyard, with lots of seating for enjoying the outdoors in warm weather. There is a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, a bunk room with two twin/twin bunk beds and a smart TV, and a full bath with a shower stall. Another game table with four chairs is also on this floor.
Wi-Fi is provided throughout the house. Pack and plays and high chairs are available on request for an additional fee, as available.

Access to this home requires 4-wheel drive in the winter months.

LOCATION: Das Angel Fire Haus is 8 minutes (3.8 miles) from the ski base area, and 6 minutes (2.5 miles) from the Angel Fire Resort Country Club.
PARKING: The driveway will easily accommodate 4 vehicles.
POOL AND FITNESS: The indoor pool and fitness center at the Angel Fire Country Club are available for a daily/weekly/monthly fee.

The indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness center at the Lodge at Angel Fire Resort is not available for public use.

WHAT TO KNOW:
This property is managed by Angel Fire Resort Vacation Rentals, 10 Miller Lane, Angel Fire, NM.
Check-in is available after 4 p.m. at the front desk of the Lodge at Angel Fire Resort. Please return keys/fobs to the front desk by 10 a.m. for check-out.
Because Angel Fire does not have residential trash pickup, trash must be taken to the Recycling Center by guests. There is a map to the Recycling Center in your guestbook. Please do not leave any trash outside as the wildlife will open the bags. We offer a Trash Removal option for your reservation; for a $100.00 fee, we will remove all bagged trash from the property after your check-out. If trash is left in the property, a $300.00 Trash Removal Penalty will be charged to your reservation.
Smoking is not permitted on our properties.
Pets are ONLY allowed in designated pet-friendly homes.
4WD or AWD vehicles are required for our homes during the winter months (November-March). It is not required to access the condos in the village, but if you are not used to winter driving, please be prepared for difficult driving conditions and use caution.
