Sarah's place was wonderful, the perfect place for a large, extended family to spread out and relax. We'd love to come back soon! Having green wide open views in the front yard and back yard was a big bonus, it allowed us to take in the views from every angle every minute whether we were on a walk out the street side or in the hot tub on the back side. Can't wait to go back!

This house was the perfect fit for our family trip. It comfortably slept 17 people! The home was spacious, beautiful, and had everything we needed. The beach shed had endless beach needs from chairs, boogy boards, sand toys, and more. The kitchen was described as a "gourmet kitchen" equipped with everything needed for the chef we hired to prepare one of our family dinners. Highly recommend Kauai Cut Catering if you are in search of an incredible chef prepared meal! There were strict lights out rules at night after 10pm, which was not problem for us at all. I will just say, I wish there had been light switch labels for all of the exterior lights. The first day it took a bit of time to find everything and ensure we had it all turned off. The host explained that the fines are very high if you don't abide by the HOA policies. Some lights were on a timer which I did not know and was a bit stressed leaving those on over night, but all ended up ok there. Something not photographed was the pool safety net that I was so relieved to have around the pool. Over all, incredible stay, and I would highly recommend it and look forward to a future stay here.

The home was beautiful and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and cozy. And the bathrooms were lovely. We enjoyed the pool and the outdoor areas. There was always something for everyone to do. Our host was very courteous and helpful. She answered all of our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. It was in a beautiful location with gorgeous views. Our granddaughter cried when we had to leave. We will surely be staying here again on our next visit to the island.

An amazing home and property. Everything was well appointed and accommodated our group of 17 very well. Beds were very comfortable and the linens were of excellent quality. The pool was enjoyed by all and the large outdoor dining table made for memorable dinners. The location was accessible to many great activities including local beaches and boat tours. Sarah, our host, was quick to respond to any inquiries we had before and during our trip. Thank you Sarah

Family in paradise

We wanted to bring our family of Americans and Australians to a holiday some place special. And we found it. This villa was the perfect place for 6 grandchildren and their parents to bond in the pool over games and, of course, exploring the island. We will be back..

Koloa House Review

It was a beautiful home and we really enjoyed our stay, all 19 of us. The outdoor area was awesome, from the pool, hot tub, swings to the putting green. Our whole family enjoyed spending time in the outdoor area. The amenities provided in the home were top notch and very much appreciated. The home was a great location for us to access many of the activities this island had to offer. There were some small issues encountered in the house that should be addressed.

Luxurious Home for Family Reunion

Our family of 17 spent ten days in this beautiful home located in a lovely part of Kauai. This property well exceeded our expectations and the location was perfect for accessing the many attractions of the island. The kitchen is well stocked with everything one could possibly need. The pool/hot tub , outdoor area, putting green and lanai are glorious and were enjoyed by all. We appreciated the availability of the many beach items in the separate garage. However we were disappointed in the lack of availability of the weight room. We were told it would not be set up for two more months. It should not be listed at all on the web site if there actually is no availability. Also perhaps the host should consider investing in spare remotes for the shades. The remote for the master bedroom was broken and so the shades could not be raised which left the room dark. The host did order a new one immediately but it understandably takes awhile for things to arrive to the islands so we could never open the shades. The host should consider creating a detailed book of directions as to how various things in the house work. All remotes should be labeled as well as what light the switches control. There should be detailed instructions as to trash disposal and days for pick up and what to do with left over food. We would also have appreciated a broom. Despite these few suggestions, we had a terrific time at this house and we leave with many fond memories of our time together here.

Aloha Mary. I’m glad your family of 17 enjoyed spacious home; almost all our visitors are extended large families 16-20 people. When you booked your stay long ago we did not have a weight room or the putting green and it was not advertised as such but glad you were surprised with a putting green and put it to good use! There is a binder in person as well as one online with directions for everything in the house and out. The lights are labeled on each switch and fan I’m sorry you had difficulty turning lights off after 10pm as security takes lighting seriously as we are a Dark Sky here in Kukuiula to protect sea birds and enjoy the dark sky. I have someone that comes to take garbage out every Monday and they put it back on Tuesdays so the only thing needed is to put trash into the bins someone does the rest for our guests. The remotes were working when we arrived without any issues (now we have several back ups) I would have been happy to show you how to use them they are exactly the same as the others in the house with the exception of 10 being on that one remote. Change window on left side press up or down on the right side and 0 on left side then hit up down brings them all up and down. Trash is in the rules from Airbnb we just ask all trash is out in the bins and not in the home or yard. We have two brooms available in the laundry room for guests use if they choose to use. We appreciate your stay and feedback and hope I answered all questions here but please reach out during your stay with any specific question and/or if you have difficulty finding anything on email or the app.

The VRBO was a dream property for our entire family of 18. So much space. Everyone had a bed and everyone had seating when we cooked meals on site. The view on Hole 2 of the golf course was stunning and we could see the ocean. We loved the giant (15') island in the kitchen. We had an abundance of plates, cups, wine glasses and silverware to use. Pots, pans, storage containers, metal straws, spices, olive oil, two refrigerators along with foil and saran wrap made it feel just like home. Several types of coffee pots, and also a vacuum to clean rental cars of sand before returning them. The outdoor kitchen had all we needed. Our ten grandchildren (ages 6-17), enjoyed playing cornhole and using the putting green. They also LOVED the many boogie boards available in the "beach garage". We had beach chairs, 21 beach towels, umbrellas and sand toys. Everyone had a seat on the couch or chairs when we had movie night. We loved being able to open the glass walls and let the Kauai breeze blow in. Nana & Papa enjoyed the upstairs Master because we could relax on the balcony and get an even better view of the ocean. It was a quick drive to Spouting Horn or Poipu Beach (where the turtles and monk seals were on the beach). Also a short 10 minute walk, to the shops that were close by, via the walking path. Enjoyed our morning walks around the area. Finally, Sarah was the ultimate host. Always available and ready to answer any questions we had. We would love to come back!
