Welcome to Hotel Klaus, nestled in the heart of Washington, LA's national historic district. This boutique hotel offers a perfect blend of history, Acadiana charm, and modern luxury. Our nine-room retreat features exquisite historic architectural details, a serene courtyard, a cocktail pool, and rooms equipped with coffee makers, SMEG fridges, and unique bathrooms. In Fall 2025, we will unveil an exceptional experience on the first floor when we launch the Hotel Klaus Lounge featuring craft cocktails, a portrait gallery and an eclectic vibe of antique and modern seating where old meets new. We offer a couple different packages for an ENTIRE Hotel buyout for you special event so you may get privacy rental of the entire hotel. Each room at Hotel Klaus is a unique sanctuary, named after cherished individuals from the building's storied past, and designed to reflect its rich heritage. After over a century as a beloved storefront, the building has been meticulously rehabilitated to reveal its original charm, including a stunning mural from the 1880s. Our accommodations include an accessible suite on the first floor, cozy two-person rooms on the second floor, and two spacious rooms designed for up to four guests. Hotel Klaus is the ideal hideaway for experiencing Acadiana’s vibrant festivals, such as Festival Acadiana and Festival International, which celebrate Cajun culture year-round. Although we do act as a functioning hotel, you may do a complete hotel buyout for your special event, Holiday Party, Wedding Party, Family Reunion, Class Reunion or Family Staycation. We offer two package options, also inquire within prior to booking.

$1,970 ONE-night buyout: Entire hotel buyout of all 9 rooms w/option to rent the private dining or commercial space room (please read below, price includes taxes & 10% discount)

Package #2
$3720: TWO-night buyout: Entire Hotel Buyout of all 9 rooms w/option the private dining comped in our commercial space room (please read below, price includes taxes & 15% discount)

NOTE:
Price already includes taxes discount, which is subject to change during the season and demand prior to booking. The entire hotel is your for the one or two night buyout of all nine rooms, pool access w/option to rent or be comped our private dining room for your special event, baby shower, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, holiday party, birthday party, anniversary, conference, etc. The private dining is a $500 to rent, or comped depending on your package. We are not a restaurant, so we offer you a variety of outside catering options, you may choose your catering options or bring in your own food and decorations.

IMPORTANT:
ALL soft drinks, non alcoholic drinks, mimosas, craft cocktails etc. are reserved for service from the Hotel Klaus Lounge to serve your vent. No outside drinks allowed in our commercial space. Cash bar or bar packages are an option.

The Event/Dining Room does have a separate Main St. entrance yet, the space is connected and adjacent to the Hotel Klaus lounge bar, which can be closed off for privacy. You still have access to the public bar and restrooms. The Klaus lounge bar is open to the general public, which means you may share access to bar amenities, but we do not close the bar for private events. We are conveniently located directly across the street from Wolff Hall Wedding & Events Center.


ADDITIONAL: On hotel buyouts, the only part of the hotel that is open to the public is the Lounge and Lounge Bar area. Planned Hotel Klaus opening is Fall 2025. During the day, our Lounge area will serve as our guests lounge and leisure space for coffee, internet use, board games, etc for our hotel guests. Planned hours for the bar will be 4 or 5pm (Hours to be announced at a later date) at which point no one under 21 allowed in this section. We look forward to hosting your events.
