Quiet, Secluded, and Small Town Vibes
Upon booking my stay at Hilltop Hideaway in Mammoth Springs the host communicated with me right away. He provided me access to the property quickly, and was open to any questions that I had.
On the day I traveled to the property, I decided to stop off at the store and the host was able to communicate with me what thing I might need at the property which prevented an unnecessary stop at the store again.
Once I arrived at the property I will say that the listing was accurate. NO children or people with mobility concerns should book this property. There are several large steps that drop down the property with gravel driveway and rocks. One plus side is that at night there are lights that light up your path down to the property. I would advise you leave the light on out back as that provides enough light to see the smart lock on the door.
As far as the inside goes, it was very well decorated. Loved the bar/tabletop eating area and power reclining sofa was very comfy. The bathroom has the laundry machines inside of it that can utilized if needed. The Wi-Fi worked great after I got the updated password.
The bed was very comfortable, and had lots of support. I will say that the A/C unit in the room works well if you like it cool, but I would suggest you turn off the display using the provided remote as we found it kind of bright at night. In the morning you are greeted by some natural lighting from the big window over the top of the bed.
Overall I would stay here again!
