The place was very nice. The bathroom and kitchen especially feel like they're new. The shower was huge and we enjoyed the clawfoot tub. We enjoyed our stay. The stairs were a little steep and we couldn't get the oven to work well. I don't think it ever preheated for the frozen pizza we were trying to heat.

Wonderful 4th July

We had a wonderful time, we really enjoyed the pond. I haven't been Bass fishing in a while and i caught one. We will definitely be staying again

It was very peaceful. loved the wild life.

We rented a cabin for a family funeral, after the funeral we went back to the cabin and was peaceful so we can think about our loved ones that's here on Earth and the ones that went to heaven

This was a wonderful place to stay. It's in the country and peaceful, but there's still grocery options really close. We didn't need anything, though. The hosts thought of everything.

Beautiful, cozy and clean. So peaceful and nice place to reflect and decompress. Beautifully decorated and just felt so relaxed and at home here. Very safe feeling too. Wifi was great (I had to work and had no issues). We caught a lot of fish and enjoyed watching the geese and other wildlife each day. Hope to make it a regular trip.

This was my second time booking the cabin and it was still excellent! Very clean and well kept, everything felt fresh and tidy. The kitchen was stocked with all the basic necessities, which made cooking super easy. Definitely a cozy and comfortable spot to unwind!

Exceptional Getaway Home

This home is very comfortable and cozy. The setting is very peaceful. Mornings on the back porch drinking coffee overlooking the pond and watching the sun rise were a treat each morning. The owners have lovingly cared for the property. Communication was also top notch. We would recommend this home for your next get away.

Peaceful close to town

Loved staying in the cabin. Very homey and comfortable. Beds are very comfortable. Loved the clawfoot tub. Enjoyed the covered porch looking at the pond. Will definitely stay again. Host is very responsive and respectful.

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL STAY!!!!

First, the host was amazing! She was so accommodating and friendly! The cabin was absolutely beautiful, inside and out! It smelled so good and was so clean! She has everything you’ll need in there to have a comfortable stay! The property is beautiful, and the rocking chairs are the best touch! We will most definitely be staying here again!!!

This was one of our best Mimi get aways!! We had the most peaceful time visiting family during our visit. The beds are so comfortable. This cabin does not need any pictures at all, every window had the perfect view of horses sunset and pond!

Nice get away in a small town with beautiful sights around

Our stay was amazing! In the beginning, we had a problem with the Wi-Fi, but the host was quick to resolve it! There were only a couple things that we wish were different or were included. Unfortunately, this property did not have a microwave, which was not the end of the world, but would have been nice if there was one included.

This place was a God send for my husband and myself. We are both psychotherapists and needed a place to recharge, and this home was perfect for that. From reserving, to check in, checkout and during our stay, the hosts were readily available, helpful and kind. The home was immaculate, most everything we needed was provided. The rustic charm made us feel like we were camping, but with all the conveniences. The back porch overlooking the pond, was where we spent a lot of our time, talking, mediating and praying. I highly recommend this cozy 2 bedroom cabin. We thank the hosts for a much needed respite. The entire time I felt like a dome of angles were watching over us.
Perfect spot for morning coffee and to watch the rain.
The pond was so soothing to our souls. And the family of geese were charming to watch.
The horses in the distance were an added pleasure to watch.
My husband loved the barns in front of the property.

This was a great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable and cute. We had some trouble finding it. We arrived late at night. The refrigerator was not working which was disappointing. In the middle of the night 4AM the fridge started making so much nose we had to unplug it. That was one of the biggest reasons we wanted a cabin - to store food. We travel over 14 hours to get there and wanted to save on money with food. We had to purchase a cooler to keep our food cold. I'm sure it was a fluke thing. The owner said they would check it out after our stay.

Jamestown retreat

The property itself is clean, well appointed and beautiful. Check in was easy. Host was super responsive. Layout of home was great for socializing. The pond outback I as the real star for us! We loved sitting outside and listening to nature so it's thing. We even had a visit from a nice neighborhood pup who was without a doubt the sweetest most well trained pup ever! My only wish would be for the church next door to turn off their parking lot lights which were excessively bright so we could have enjoyed the splendor of the dark sky more fully. We would definitely spend time here again.

Refrigerator had no ice or water in door, no microwave, couch was so low, it felt like you were on floor, no can opener, had to go back out and buy ice and opener. That was my only complaints.
