Cozy 3BR 1.5BA South Fork Cabin

Newly updated 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath cabin conveniently located in the beautiful Ponderosa neighborhood. Enjoy a short walk to the Rio Grande, throw a line in for world class fishing, walk or bike ride in the neighborhood and relax with your favorite beverage on the porch while birdwatching. Rail bike rides are also accessed just a short walk from the cabin. Visit historic Creede, from South Fork it's a scenic 20 mile drive along CO-149. At the end of the day, you can relax while viewing a night sky that is perfect for stargazing and blackout blinds in the bedrooms will ensure you can sleep in! Try something new like whitewater rafting, a guided flyfishing trip or mine tours. Adventure on your own and try rockhounding or wildlife viewing. Unplug, relax and unwind in the great outdoors in this incredible remote area of Colorado!

Because the cabin is thoroughly cleaned between stays, early check in/late check out requests must be made in advance. No early check in or late check out can be accommodated in the summer months. Thank you for understanding.

Bright open living/dining room area perfect for relaxing, well equipped kitchen with all new appliances including gas range. Master bedroom with queen bed and attached 1/2 bath, plus separate full bath on one side of living room, and 2 additional bedrooms with queen beds on the other side. Smart TV with option to sign in to your Netflix or watch a DVD, no cable. "Game room" in garage too!

Cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed! The host was quick to reply and easy to communicate with. We will definitely book this cabin again when we visit South Fork.

Communication with Dawn before, during, and after our arrival was excellent. We checked in easily with the information provided. The cabin was perfect, the kitchen had all the utensils we needed for cooking our meals. We all slept comfortably and enjoyed a peaceful stay, which was just what we needed.

Outstanding Cabin

This was the best VRBO property we have visited. The cabin is clean, neat, well-appointed, and comfortable. The hosts communicated with us very well. We hope to visit the area again in the future, and would seek out this cabin as first choice for lodging.

Outstanding cabin with cozy amenities

I spent a wonderful week at this cozy cabin nestled in the mountains of South Fork and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The cabin itself had a warm, rustic feel with modern amenities making it an inviting atmosphere for all the guests. The deck outside was a highlight of the cabin, with views of the surrounding peaks and wildlife that on occasion will graze around the yard at safe distances. I looked forward to each brisk morning when I was able to enjoy my coffee outside on the deck and take in the mountain air. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed for the week, including a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a spacious living area perfect for relaxing after a full day of exploring. The location couldn’t have been better, with opportunities for a variety of activities within a several minutes’ drive. The hosts were very welcoming and ensured our stay was comfortable. We left feeling rejuvenated and excited to return.
