Spacious Home on Mount Washington/King Bed

Born and raised in the Pittsburgh area, I’m a husband and father of two wonderful girls. I love going to the beach and would like to do it more often along with eating at the local seafood spots. I work for a local news station in Pittsburgh but prefer to watch a good movie instead of the daily news.

This neighborhood of Mount Washington offers a quiet and safe environment, providing a peaceful contrast to the busy atmosphere of downtown Pittsburgh. Situated on a side street, the house experiences minimal vehicle traffic. The local residents are friendly neighbors, and local public transportation options are conveniently accessible with a short walk in either direction.

If you venture over to Grandview Avenue, you'll be treated to sweeping views of Pittsburgh's skyline, the confluence of the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio rivers, and the picturesque bridges that span their waters.

Explore charming shops, quaint cafes, and fine dining establishments all along the stretch of Grandview. You can enjoy a delicious cuisine while taking in the scenery, or take a leisurely stroll along the scenic overlooks for picture-perfect moments.

For outdoor enthusiasts, you can lace up your hiking boots and embark on a journey through the lush greenery of Emerald View Park, where winding trails lead to secluded picnic spots. Or, if you prefer a more leisurely pace, hop on a bike and cruise along the scenic routes that wind their way through the mountain's foothills.

Hardwood flooring throughout the first floor. 2 full bathrooms with a rainfall shower in the upstairs bathroom, body wash, shampoo, make up remover and hair dryer are provided. The cozy Master bedroom has a very unique vaulted ceiling and exposed brick. Stream your favorite movie on a large Roku connected TV while laying on a comfy king sized bed. The Queen bedroom has plenty of space with a double door closet.

If you like to cook, feel free to make your favorite dish with our stainless steel appliances in this updated chef's kitchen. A full size fridge with water/ice dispenser, gas stove complete with a commercial hood, dishwasher, keurig, microwave and toaster all available for you to make a great meal. The kitchen/dining area is very open and has lots of space, island stools for 4 people and dining table for 6, great for family dinner! The comfy living room is a great place to stream your favorite shows on the 55" Roku TV. Free and fast Wi-fi throughout the house! Reading material and family board games are also provided to pass the time.

There is a washer and dryer available for guest use with detergent and dryer sheets included.
