Skylar was a very good host, very helpful with anything needed and answered any questions quickly.The property was great, very clean, spacious rooms, well equipped, walk around balcony overlooking beutiful views and plenty of parking space. Location was perfect to anything you needed/wanted to do in the area. Will definetly stay at this location if ever back in the area.

Thank you so much for hosting us Skyler. We loved the place and its location. The lodge was equipped with everything you need during the tenure of a vacation (4 days for us) in Ouray. We recommend this lodge to whoever intends to spend their days in the San Juan National Forest Area :)

This is a wonderful place to stay. There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor and a 4th bedroom in the basement with another king bed. The home is very, very clean and the beds super comfy. Skylar is very responsive and we enjoyed our short stay very much. Do not miss Orvis Hot Springs across the street. Ridgeway is a darling town with great restaurants. We loved this place and highly recommend it!

The house has a beautiful view, and the location was ideal for our stay close to Ouray. Although the property is a bit older, it was very clean, spacious, and well-suited for our needs. There is some noise from the nearby road that we noticed during the night but not enough to keep us awake. Communication was prompt and they were very accommodating.

Great stay just outside of Ouray. We arrived late and left early so did not have much time at the property. Everything was clean and items provided for a comfortable night. We could see the hot springs across the road but did not partake. We enjoyed the view from the front porch.

We stayed here for 5 days while in town doing the Alpine Loop. The owner was very communicative, friendly, and helpful. He even put HEPA filters in the bedrooms for better air quality while the wildfires were going on. Some of the cooking utensils, pots, and pans were a bit aged, but overall the house was well stocked and clean. We enjoyed our stay here and loved the view! This house is highly recommended if you have a large group, need plenty of parking, and room to spread out comfortably!

Loved our stay at the Orvis Outpost! It was a perfect size for our group. And a perfect staging point for our backpacking trip out of Ouray. It is great and right across the street from the Orvis hot springs!

It was great for our gathering and had lots of room for our big group. There are 3 king beds and 2 queen beds and they were all super comfy: it was only a 5 minute walk to Orvis hot springs too!

Super clean and plenty of space for my entire family! We didn’t spend much time here, just sleeping while we explored Ridgeway and Ouray — but Skylar’s communication was excellent and the property was as advertised! Would stay again!

Stayed one night with friends. Right off the highway so super convenient between ouray or ridgeway and if you wanted to do Orvis hot springs its just across the street! Cute place!
