The Augustus Cottage is a perfect couples getaway and is conveniently located just a short distance from Lowell's Cove, on Orr's Island. An adorable cottage with picturesque ocean views from most rooms.

The cottage features 2 bedrooms, and one bath. Upon entering the home, you are greeted by a cozy, sunlit dining area, adjacent to a galley-style kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing your own meals, with new appliances, cookware, lobster pot, and is also where the stacked washer/dryer are situated. You can also choose to head to the cute outdoor yard space, enclosed by a custom built stone wall, where you can light up the outdoor grill as well as the lobster cooker for the traditional Maine experience! Be sure to pick some fresh lobsters up from our locals!

Just down the hall you will find the roomy living area, which presents attractive exposed beams along with an expansive bay window facing the ocean. A perfect spot for relaxing after a day of exploring our coastal town! You can choose to enjoy playing games, streaming on the TV, and planning your next adventure! On the second level, you will find the 2 bedrooms, both of which are spacious, and each furnished with a Queen size bed. Please note, one of the bedrooms is loft style, and does not have its own door, while the other bedroom does include a door for privacy. Parking for one vehicle only. There is a two person maximum occupancy only.

Harpswell is a unique working waterfront mid coast Maine town, with many hiking trails, beach areas, great restaurants, little shops, and breath-taking views throughout. Conveniently located close to Brunswick, Freeport, Bath, Phippsburg and more. Harpswell is conveniently located 20 minutes from Brunswick, take the train from there and travel the Maine coast. Brunswick is also home to Bowdoin College, which offers the Maine State Music Theatre, with superb productions, and museums to enjoy ! Close to Portland, and Freeport, home of LL Bean, many outlet shops, and restaurants. Driving distance to Popham Beach...the most spectacular stretch of sandy beach in Maine, along with historical forts to explore.
