1. SHARED COMMON AREAS
Our cabin is a duplex. Both sides are connected through a soundproofed double locking door. This listing is for the one side of the duplex.

Please take note:
- There is a private entrance but you may cross paths outside with other guests who have booked the other side of the duplex.
- The cabin has a firepit and a hot tub. You will have access to the firepit only for this listing. The hot tub is reserved for use by the other side's guests only.
- We have done our best to soundproof, but as there is shared wall, there is potential for noise from guests staying next door.

Please send me a message if you would like to book the entire cabin.

2. ROUGH TERRAIN
As our home is situated on the side of the mountain, there is rough terrain especially during inclement weather. A 4x4 or SUV is recommended. We strongly advise against bringing sedans or smaller vehicles as there is potential for damage. We are not liable for damage to any vehicles.

3. WILDLIFE POLICY

**1. Wildlife Diversity:**
You'll likely encounter various wildlife during your stay. Please remember that these animals are wild and should not be approached or fed.

**2. Caution with Bears:**
While rare, there is a possibility of encountering black bears in the region. If you happen to see a bear, it's essential to maintain a safe distance and not attempt to interact with or feed them. Keep all trash securely stored indoors or in designated bear-proof containers provided to minimize any potential encounters.

**3. Snakes and Insects:**
Being in a wooded area means that snakes and insects are part of the local ecosystem. While most are harmless, it's always a good idea to be cautious and avoid disturbing them. Steer clear of tall grass and brush while walking outdoors, and keep doors and windows closed to prevent any unwanted visitors.

**4. Fire Safety:**
With the natural surroundings, we must be mindful of fire safety. Please refrain from building open fires outside the designated areas.

**5. Respect Nature:**
We are fortunate to be surrounded by the wonders of nature, and we kindly ask you to help us preserve it. Avoid littering and leave no trace of your visit when exploring the great outdoors. Let's work together to protect the environment for future generations to enjoy.
