We loved everything about this space. It was very clean, everything looked new and updated. The rooms were spacious and open. A quiet hideaway in a beautiful Maine town.

Very clean, comfortable house! We found the instructions easy to follow as for check-in and out and the location is great, less than a 5 minute drive from the downtown area. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely stay in Boothbay. The house is clean and modern. Air conditioning is listed as a feature, but there is just one AC unit, a floor model in the master bedroom room. Without shades on the windows, it got hot on the second floor with the mid day sun and there aren't any shades on the windows in the main room and kitchen. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would return.

We were able to park directly at the unit. It was very quiet, and had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant, with the added benefit of a forested view.

The place was lovely and perfect for our family of four and our annual trip to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens.

We had a wonderful time at this property! Quiet and secluded but also very convenient to downtown! Very clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. It was easy to get in touch with the host. Only suggestion would be: It would be nice to have a little guest book with recommendations/info of restaurants and things to do.

Review highlights -Just an okay stay. Warm house with an inoperable ceiling fan. Floors were dirty and left our socks black. Downstairs has a strong odor of mold and mildew. Downstairs bathroom had two of the four lightbulbs burnt out, and they were covered in dusty cobwebs. Upstairs sofa needs a serious cleaning, we didn’t want to sit on it from all the stains. The check-in process was beyond frustrating. We almost ended up sleeping in our car in a parking lot because we weren’t sure of the location. Lesson learned - beware of properties with few reviews. There were at least three renters at this property in the time we were there, yet there are only ten total reviews. That should have been my caution sign. More to read - We had an amazing time in Boothbay Harbor! Although we had some small issues at this property, it was a really wonderful trip. I contacted the owner after we left, to politely let him know of the issues we encountered. He completely ignored and never acknowledged my concerns. No big deal, I just wanted to let him know, as I would like to know of issues if I were the owner. I inadvertently left behind some items. I contacted the owner again and he responded this time, and said he would have the cleaner look for them. He responded later and said they found it and asked for my address. It’s been over a month now and I haven’t received it. It’s not his job to send my items back, but he said he would. Now he won’t respond to any communications at all

Ryan was less than an ok guest from go. Unfortunately, you have a guest every now and then where the sense of entitlement is beyond what we are able to handle. First and foremost the reason there are so few reviews is because the property is listed on THREE different platforms. VRBO is where we receive the least amount of our bookings, which, before Ryan, we had a 10 star score. There are numbers for the property at the end of the driveway. The house has had an impeccable score for cleanliness and we have an amazing team we stand behind. We’ve also never had three renters at a time. We have two very simple units with clear instructions on how to enter each unit. At no point during the stay were we told any of these concerns. If we were the cleaners can come out at any time to address them as we have done in the past when requested. I think that anyone with a modicum of common sense will be able to read his review and be able to understand the source.

Girls Weekend

We had a great stay at this property. Our only disappointments were; even though it was described as walkable into town, there were no sidewalks to get out of the neighborhood. Therefore, it was unsafe to walk at night on the dark streets. Also, the cab service that was referred to us never returned our calls. This was a big disappointment as we had a wedding to attend and had wanted a service.
