Cleanliness is something we take great pride in, and we typically receive wonderful feedback on that, so your comments were surprising. I truly wish you had shared your concerns during your stay, we would have addressed them immediately, as we always strive to make things right for our guests. When you requested an early check-in, we arranged for a deep cleaning to ensure everything was in order. If you had mentioned your dissatisfaction at that point or anytime during your visit, we would have gladly offered a refund and helped you find a better fit. As for the neighbor, he’s an elderly gentleman who keeps to himself and has never caused issues with any previous guests. Regarding the blind in the master bedroom, I wasn’t aware of any damage prior to your stay, it’s quite minor, and I assumed it may have happened during your visit. Either way, it can be fixed. The reminder I sent about taking out the trash before checkout is something I send to all guests, as not everyone reads the house rules listed on the website. While I regret that this experience wasn’t a positive one for you, I do hope that in the future you’ll feel comfortable sharing concerns with your host in real time so they have the chance to make things right.

I did speak with the pest control guy and he warned that once he sprayed it there were anything else there it would bring them out, I would have been uneasy as well. He did mention to me as well it was a beetle type of cockroach not a “German” one whatever that means I just know from now on to keep pest control spraying because it’s not good and I would hate to have this as an ongoing problem especially during my guests stays. In AL “crawlers” are definitely a problem everywhere but pest control keeps them away so I will continue that service from here on. The AC thermostat is in the living room and you mentioned a switchboard noise I’m not sure what you mean but I will ask someone to see if this can be helped now that I know. No one has ever mentioned it.

I went above and beyond to ensure your stay was comfortable, including checking in multiple times to see if you needed anything. Unfortunately, the damage done to the yard from parking on the grass was unexpected. I strive to provide a great experience for all my guests, and I’m always open to constructive feedback but without explanation isn’t helpful
