Flowers Lake Cottage

Toute la famille peut profiter des 15 acres de terrain sur le lac Flowers. Ce cadre calme au bord du lac offre un achigan Ă  grande bouche de premier ordre, du poisson-chat et de la pĂȘche au crappie. La baignade est Ă©galement excellente pendant les chaudes journĂ©es d'Ă©tĂ©. Seuls les moteurs de pĂȘche Ă  la traĂźne Ă  piles sont autorisĂ©s sur le lac, donc pas besoin de s'inquiĂ©ter des bateaux motorisĂ©s bruyants et des jet-skis interrompant votre sĂ©jour. Cependant, si ces activitĂ©s vous plaisent, vous pouvez visiter l'une des premiĂšres zones de loisirs aquatiques de Californie au bord du lac Tulloch, Ă  seulement 15 minutes en voiture.

Nous sommes à seulement 5 km du nouveau centre-ville de Copperopolis et à 15 minutes de l'une des meilleures destinations de golf du centre de la Californie, Saddle Creek Resort. Vous pouvez également passer l'aprÚs-midi dans les nombreuses caves de Murphys. Il y a beaucoup d'autres activités à pratiquer dans les grottes de Moaning, le parc Yosemite et la station de ski Bear Mountain à proximité.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying here. The property is beautiful. Although my sons didn’t catch any fish (p.s. bait only available at Ace), they enjoyed kayaking and being on the water. Perfect place to decompress. The owner Steve was great with communicating with me. Can’t wait to stay again in the Summer time.

Incredible stay at a beautiful property!

We wanted to get off the grid with our teen boys and booked this house for 4 nights. The property is wonderful, tons of opportunity to be out on the creek, good fishing and beautiful views. Property manager was quick to respond to all of our questions and suggestions and we will definitely book again!

Great cabin to make unforgettable memories.

The cabin is a cute home that still feels newly built. The little lake is great for top water fishing, dinghy boating & kayaking. If you want a bigger lake for motor boats, jet skis & swimming, Lake Tulloch is a 15 min drive away. The owner is generous & is a proactive communicator. I'd totally stay he here againn and again.

Clean House, Gorgeous View!

The place was exactly as described and had all the necessary bedding/kitchen supplies. The place is super private and has a BEAUTIFUL lake view. Steve was incredibly communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. We’d absolutely book again if we’re in the area!

Short break away from the holiday festivities

A much needed break away from the holiday festivities for my husband and I and the cottage was perfect. 2024 was a difficult time for my husband with losing two family members. I wanted to gift him a peaceful place to just be in his thoughts. Steve was very accommodating and made this experience so helpful.

The Lake house

Exactly what we were looking for. Very relaxing and quiet. Did not use the boat. Because motor had loose clamp. Enjoyed our time very much.

Quiet and peaceful

The cottage was perfect for our family. We have 3 teens and brought our two dogs. Teens slept in the living room on the pullout sofa and in the bunk bed room. We hung out on the patio and listened to music while playing card games. We went down to the water and used the kayaks and paddle boards. We tried fishing, but we didn’t catch anything! It was so quiet and peaceful and the kids had a relaxing time.

Could be better

The house is isolated on many acres, which is lovely and quiet. That being said, it could use some TLC. Both sinks plugged up and the one with a disposal shot water, which made cooking difficult. There was Draino under the sink so I don't think it was a new problem. Also, there were only 3 rolls of toilet paper for our group of 6 who were staying for 4 nights (that wasn't enough). Lastly, the outdoor area by the house was nice, with a lovely pergola, but the addition of lights (or electricity there) is needed. Note that you aren't allowed a outdoor fire in the summer months due to fire danger and if you use the indoor fireplace, you need to clean it out afterward. The lake was fine for fishing but pretty stagnant and dirty so no one would get in. The boat was nice to take out around the lake though.

What a gorgeous property ! So relaxing , just perfect ! Steve was super friendly and made sure we had every single thing we needed to enjoy this beautiful cabin by the lake . Home is well appointed and updated. Comfy beds , clean everything ! And the animals on the property are a huge unexpected bonus ! We fished at the private dock , star gazed in the hot tub , and roasted marshmallows on the fire pit under the clear sky . 10 out of 10! Thank you Steve - it was a perfect stay!

Relaxing quiet property great for a get away

This cottage with the surrounding grounds would be perfect for a quiet get away or some family fun. Lots of on site amenities and close by in the gold country to many attractions.

Quiet paradise

Fantastic place to enjoy peace and quiet. Great fishing, and great place to find river otters, bald eagles and more! This was or second visit to this cute little cottage on the water and look forward to trip number 3!

Great private cottage

I brought my teenagers boys and 3 of their friends and they had a blast. The paddle boat needs repair, water gets in. The lake view from the cottage is beautiful. The steps to the water would be easier to handle if they had rails. I did not need to use the kitchen but have to say it is pretty well equipped. The only thing I would recommend is to change the bathroom rug, it smells like mildew. We will definitely return.

June 7-10, 2019

It was wonderful, exactly as pictured, breathtaking sunsets! Our friends all warned us the bed would be horrible--it was good, don't be afraid. Everything we ate at the Town Square was great: pizza, ribs, ice cream and very dog friendly with outdoor seating. At 62 and 64 we are wondering how many years we will be able to get up/down the first few steps to the water, they are a bit steeper than average steps and I have arthritis. There is also a path without steps, that's where we saw the cottontail bunny. We're hoping for a week each year for the next five at least. We were not prepared for the cold first morning but after that it was warm early (we'll bring our sweatshirts next time :)

Our favorite getaway

The setting is idyllic - the pics are right on target, it really is beautiful; we are grateful for this getaway for our family. The owner and rental process are friendly and easy. It is a simple home environment - we had to buy toilet paper and there were no washcloths; towels are small but there are lots of blankets and we were super happy with the foldout sofas which are great for kids - adults who have sore backs, maybe not; because I cook I would need to bring some things the kitchen doesn't have (mixing size bowl, pyrex or trays for roasting, pitcher for drinks, some food prep utensils, stuff like that) but my husband and I and the kids like to take it easy when we are there and there are good places to eat out. The paddleboat needs repair (rudder doesn't work), and the boat has some marks of use (cracked bench = sharp metal) but we are there to experience simple pleasures (fish, swim, lay out) and the rejuvenation of the fresh air, quiet environment and beautiful nature all around. We would all grieve if this place weren't available - it truly is a very important retreat place for our family, has been for years, and the kids always say it's their favorite vacation that we take. I pray they never sell and if they do, they sell to us!

A Quiet Retreat

The Flowers Lake Cottage provided a nice retreat for our family. Situated only a few minutes away from a town and two hours from Yosemite, the location was ideal. Upon arrival, the house was clean and ready for us to make our home for three nights. Almost everything we needed in the kitchen was available and the grill outside was a nice option. I would definitely recommend this house if a traveler is looking for solace, access to a boat and fishing. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the owner was responsive and provided thorough directions for checking in and out of the property.
