Plenty of space for larger groups. Teenage boys had a great time sleeping in the game room. You have to walk down a lot of steps to the lake but it’s all visible from the house/upper decks so those that don’t want to walk can still watch the activity and admire the view—and it’s a great lake access for kayaking, canoeing and fishing,

Property was easy to find, check in was super simple. lots of space for visiting with our family and James was very responsive to my concerns. I would recommend that the cleaning team do a quick run through the day before a visit begins to sweep, dust, air out the house and clean up the outside sitting areas. The lowest level of the house smelled very damp/ musty. Additionally. I didn’t notice in any of the photos that there were LOTS of stuffed birds/animals hanging on the walls nor the creepy 6 foot black bear in the corner of the living room.

When we first walked into the house, it was a big wow. So spacious. So clean. Such a beautiful view. We had everything we needed for cooking. Y’all need more forks. We had to wash forks for every meal. Spoons too. The table was a big hit. Looking out through the woods to the lake and plenty of room for our party of seven. Plenty of towels. Comfortable beds. It was not like staying in a rental place. It was like visiting a friend’s home. One of our gals waxed eloquent about the walk-in shower downstairs. It was a just great and we felt really pampered. Thank you so much!

Nice place where family can all stay together.

We had a great stay. This is a lake house on a beautiful wooded lot with deer that roam freely through the yards of the lake side homes. A storm came through and knocked out the internet so we had some great family time without TV.

Amazing stay here with a group of friends and we recommend the property. We have been renting places for almost 20 years and I must say this was one of the bests we’ve encountered. I 100% would stay here again. The owner was responsive to some initial concerns had regarding the property. They had people out to look at it immediately! They couldn’t fix the back door fully but it was improved. The lake area feels semi private. The water was amazing. I do want to call attention to this as it wasnt super clear in the listing: the first floor bedroom is loft-style, where the walls do not go all the way to the ceiling meaning that it will not be the quietest as it is on the same floor as the kitchen. Definitely not a deal breaker but something I wish I knew when booking. The kitchen also did not have extra garbage bags or kitchen towels which is also helpful to know ahead of time. We will just bring next time. Great stay and a gem of a property. We highly recommend!!!

Very relaxing!

There were 8 of us and we all had a wonderful stay. The boat was a perk we really enjoyed! We fished, we cooked, we laughed. We saw deer, a coyote, lots of great blue herons. Some played pool and some played pacman while enjoying records on the turntable. Highly recommend this place!

Big beautiful house

The house was large enough for our group of friends. The beds were very comfortable. Lots of deck space to enjoy the lake. James was very helpful with the few questions we had. There are loads of photos which are all accurate. We will be back next year!

Well Worth It!

Our stay at this lake house was better than we bargained for. The overall space of the house was more than adequate for our group, and the lake provided beautiful scenery throughout the day. What made this stay so wonderful is the host. He is responsive, clear, and kind. Would recommend to any group.

What a unique and fantastic vacation property!

This house is a family's vacation dream home! First, the house is just uniquely gorgeous and loaded with fun things to do. The basement has a pool table, arcade games, a poker table, a large TV, and more. All the bedrooms are huge and the beds are so comfortable. The views are gorgeous! We took full advantage of the dock and water toys. Kids had a blast swimming, fishing, and kayaking in the quiet cove. The host is wonderful and made sure home was stocked with everything you need. We loved this house!

Carrie is so sweet. I really appreciate this incredible review. Shes awesome, great communicator and our cleaners said the house was immaculate when she left. Would love to have her again.
