One of the best rentals by far. Great location. The pictures dont capture just how beautiful this cabin is. The furniture and decorations and attention to every detail showed. The cabin was stocked with everything. We sat for hours watching, Elk walk on the mountain and in our yard. We watched the stars and rainbows off the back porch. When we go back this will be our place to stay.

This was the quietist, most peaceful, luxurious cabin stay. The location is just outside of the quaint town of Gardiner. we saw elk daily, some on the property. The bed was very comfortable and the hosts thought of everything. They even provided a bottle of wine to welcome us. Would stay there again if not for the 2,000 miles travel to get there. Daily visits to all sights in yellowstone were convenient. Town has live music, a grocery store and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Breathtaking

Pictures do not do this place justice. From the location so close to the park , the views , the Elk, to every thoughtful detail put into the beautiful cabin. It had everything we could possibly need organized and labeled! My sons and husband sat on the porch every night until dark, my 5 year old loved the toys provided, and I loved rocking in the rocking chair reading my book! It was a truly fabulous stay!

Perfection - Simply Stunning in Every Way!

Our family stayed in Gardiner for the first 3 nights (June 11-June 14) of our Yellowstone/Grand Teton National Park vacation. This cabin was by far our favorite of our 3 accommodations. The views are simply stunning - pictures do not do it justice. We enjoyed watching the grazing elk and marveled over the magnificent landscape including Electric Peak and Devil's Slide.The cabin is cozy and inviting, modern and rustic at the same time. We spent long days in Yellowstone and this cabin was a fabulous retreat to unwind and relax as a family. The attention to detail and amenities - top notch! I wish there was a rating higher than 5 stars as Clarice has thought of everything and set the bar very high for our expectations for future rentals. The entire place is immaculate and well appointed. You can easily see the pride the owners have as everything is top quality. It's as if they moved out and left us the very best of everything to use for our stay. Towels are provided specifically for the Hot Springs (amazing - highly recommend also) so you don't have to rent them. The beds were very comfortable (by far the best sleep of this trip), high-quality linens and blankets for those cool nights/mornings. There was even a diffuser for the hair dryer. I mean really - she's thought of everything.We simply adored this cabin and would love to return in the future. Thank you for having us and sharing your beautiful cabin. You by far exceeded all expectations!

Beautiful cabin with excellent amenities, beautiful views, and very peaceful. Convenient to North entrance to Yellowstone and small town of Gardiner. The owner was very responsive to questions and available for friendly conversation. Lots of hikes nearby both in and out of park. Easy access to Gardiner for guided experiences such as wildlife viewing, horseback riding, rafting, fishing.

Modern rustic retreat

We loved this beautiful cabin that had all of the luxuries of home! The location is great and the cabin is new! We celebrated my 60th birthday here with our small dog. Would highly recommend!

Best VRBO ever!

This cabin is the most beautiful and tastefully decorated spot I have ever stayed in. We absolutely adored it and we had such a special time celebrating our anniversary! It is so convenient to Yellowstone but a great destination on its own. The house has literally EVERYTHING you could want and more! And places are carefully labeled so you know right where to find things. We will certainly be back!

Amazing place to stay

We had a fantastic time here. I stayed here with my adult son as a brief get away enjoying time at Yellowstone National Park. The cabin was very clean and well supplied allowing us to have comfort and privacy during our down time after activities in the park. I would definitely like to stay here again on further visits to Yellowstone.

Wow just wow

This cabin is as good if not better than it looks. Amazing views - 5 stars for sure. It is obvious that the hosts have pride in ownership. It is an authentic cabin and attention to detail is second to none. We highly recommend.

Top Tier Vacation Rental

Look no further, you should book this cabin! It is luxurious, and the owners spared no expense. The custom furniture is gorgeous as is the woodwork within the home. Heck, even the walk-in shower is a sight to behold. Linens and towels were high quality. Lots of attention to fine details--a set a binoculars, as well as three cans of bear spray with whistles and bells attached for those outdoor hikes. It was nice to be able to borrow these items instead of going out and buying my own. Thankfully, we didn't need to use the bear spray. Everything is labeled throughout, and I really appreciated the spices and oil in the kitchen. The views from outside the cabin are outstanding. Loved spending time on the porch, away from the rest of the tourists! The cabin is a stone's throw away from the north entrance of the park. I'm so glad we didn't book a rental inside the park--this is definitely better. Highly recommend!

The perfect place for our family!

This cabin served our family incredibly well for our stay out west! The location was fantastic- nestled just minutes outside of Gardiner. The views were absolutely breathtaking-taking, and we got to watch herds of elk right from the porch every day! The owners thought through every detail in providing a gorgeous cabin with beautiful decor, and included nearly every amenity you could possibly need! We feel so blessed to have been able to stay at the South 89 Cabin, and would love to stay again!

Perfect!

Perfect getaway cabin right outside of Gardiner, MT! The cabin was great for our family trip to Yellowstone! It is in a beautiful mountain setting with elk practically in the front yard every day and amazing views! Cabin is immaculate with all sorts of beautiful touches and amenities! It had everything we needed for our 8 night stay. Plenty of space for a family of 4. We would definitely book again!
