The property was amazing and Lucio, our host, was one of the best we've ever had. Transportation from the property to town was quick and efficient and Lucio was a kind and generous host and very attentive to all of our needs, including excellent restaurant recommendations and arranging for special transportation needs. Our room was clean and the views from the patio were breathtaking. We hope to come back to this property again in the near future.

Our stay at Lucio’s was the peace we needed after being in the heart of Sorrento. The shuttle service was prompt and reliable and easy to arrange and part of our unique Sorrento experience The view from the balcony is exceptional and although the kitchen is small we were able to eat in at the table with cold meats, cheeses and bread we bought from the supermarket at the shuttle pick up point. The bedroom is dark and quiet so we slept soundly while we were there. Lucio is a friendly and obliging host. We loved our stay here and would recommend to anyone.

Lucio was wonderful! The rental was perfect for us as so quiet at night and the view of the Bay of Naples from the terrace was awesome. Took some beautiful photos at sunset! Shuttle to get back and forth from town was on demand through WhatsApp and we never waited more than a couple of minutes. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Sorrento country house stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the country house in Sorrento. Our host, Lucio was very kind and let us check in early. The view from the spacious porch is spectacular. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the basket of fruit and yogurt and bottled water left in the refrigerator for us. The shuttle service worked better than expected; most times they were already waiting at the bottom of the hill so we rarely had to call them. It was easy to walk from the pick up location to the restaurants in town. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Sorrento if you’re looking for a change from hotels.

Sorrento for 3 days

We had a great visit in Sorrento. Lucio was a friendly host. Once we got the hang of the shuttle system, it was easy. FYI there’s no shuttle during siesta from 12-4. Pollio supermarket has essentials, but there’s plenty of restaurants in town. The AC cooled the apt. down as it gets a lot of sun. Rent a lounger on the pier & swim at Bagni Regina Giovanna. The beds were a little hard, but we were so tired we slept fine. It’s very quiet up there.

De accommodatie ligt bovenaan een steile heuvel. Nadat je een trap oploopt kom je uit in de eerste van twee héél ruime kamers met hoge plafonds. Ouderwets meubilair maar niet verouderd, heel gezellig en heel schoon. De airco's werken prima, net als de wifi. Het keukentje is wel erg smal en eigenlijk alleen geschikt voor een bakje koffie zetten (geen apparaat). De douche is ruim genoeg en netjes. Het terras is fenomenaal met zijn ongeveer 4 bij 8 meter gericht op de baai van Napels en zich op de Vesuvius. Over de eigenaar en de service niets dan lof. Als je nieuwe handdoeken wilt liggen ze er binnen een uurtje, de wasmachine staat om de hoek onderaan het terras en kun je onbeperkt gebruiken, een parasol op het terras werden binnen 5 minuten neergezet en info nodig? Gewoon even vragen of appen. Er rijdt een gratis shuttlebusje van 's ochtend 8 tot 12 en van 16 uur tot middernacht. Het busje haalt en brengt je (op aanvraag via een handige groepsapp; meestal binnen 10 minuten) naar een héél ruim gesorteerde supermarkt (op loopafstand van een drukke winkelstraat richting het centrum van Sorento). Bij aankomst en vertrek met onze trein zouden we buiten die tijden reizen maar voor eigenaar Lucio was dat geen probleem: dan rijdt hij ons gewoon zelf. Een absolute toplocatie nabij een leuke stad die ook een prima uitvalsbasis vormt voor de fantastische Amalfikust. Lucio bedankt voor alles!!

Generous sized rooms with effective air con makes it a comfortable place to stay. The kitchen is a bit limited but does all we needed it to. Unique aspects are the shuttle ride and a terrace you just don’t want to leave (except when it’s too hot!).
