This vintage cottage is centrally located in a quiet Omaha neighborhood, close proximity to major freeways, grocery store, gas station, ten to fifteen minutes to major attractions in Omaha and surrounded by hospitals. It is an ideal location for family reunions, traveling healthcare workers, remote work or vacations. Eppley airport is 15 minutes away.
Two bedrooms on the main floor with double and queen size beds. A third spacious bedroom in remodeled attic with king size bed. Lots of light, especially in the dining area. Kitchen, dining room and first bathroom on main floor. Extra chairs in closet for the dining area. Kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking. A second living room for family time and playing space for children is located in the basement. The living room couch can fold out to function as a bed. A second bathroom is also located in the basement. Driveway can accomodate 3 medium size cars, garage one car. Inhouse washer and dryer.

Great little cottage. Well stocked and comfortable. Host is communicative and agreeable. Centrally located. Close to Baxter Stadium, Henry Doorly Zoo, Stinson Park, grocery store, restaurants, and gas. Will definitely stay again.

Great stay!

We had a great stay ! Great communication from host, great location. The upstairs bedroom did get quite warm, there’s an AC unit it just doesn’t cool the entire room wear the bed is… but that was are onlyStruggle. We’d def stay here again!

Wonderful stay!

Le Lin was a wonderful host, she responded quickly and as very understanding. The house itself was very clean and the kids had a blast hanging out in the basement. We were there for the Omaha Slumpbuster baseball tournament and the college World Series, the house was centrally located and made everything easy to get to. Thank you for our wonderful stay!

very clean

We appreciated how neat, tidy and clean the home was. While it is an older property, it is well kept and tidy. We were happy there was a second bathroom in the basement and made use of it.

Nice smaller home. The three of us were very comfortable. The house was very clean furniture was in great shape. Kitchen had all we needed. Communication with owner was very prompt. We had a nice stay and will definitely stay again

Omaha with the Grands

The property and neighborhood was as described and it fit our needs. Suggestions:We think we are tech savvy, but maybe not. Add a tutorial for working the TV. The apps froze often and we had problems getting them unstuck.The living room is a little cramped for two old folks AND two Grandkids. Maybe another chair?The dining area chairs are VERY hard. Seating pads would go a long way.A full size kitchen trash bin should be added.

Cozy cottage

Overall, this was a cute house to stay in. It had all we needed to make our stay comfortable! The host is very quick with communication. It's an old house with character and quirks. It is very simply supplied. Covers all the basics without much extras. It would be nice to know ahead of time that the extra futon that we were planning to use is in the basement. And the only thing in the basement. So my kids were hesitant to use it, and we needed to make other arrangements for them. But the host was helpful on using a portable mattress, so it all worked out in the end. it all worked outmuch extra.

Location was great for access and convenience. The neighborhood felt safe and the people were cool. This is an older home with typical old home nuances that made it quaint. My only issues were with the bath linens. One was not clean and overall they were lower quality than would be expected. The owner was very engaging and helped me locate the extra towels so we had enough, and they were clean. Overall, a very good stay with a few hiccups. I would add that because the 2nd bathroom is downstairs, this would not be ideal for older folks or someone with limitations. The stairs in the home are "short" in depth making them harder to navigate for some. This is just one of those nuances to consider. The owner was great and very communicative. This really helped make the stay positive. Thanks!
