Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Welcome to our Lake House on Hardy Lake. Kayak and pedal boat $30 per day for rent available.
The space
The House sits on a full acre of property On Hardy Lake. It has a covered front and back porch. In these 2 beds, 2 bath, you will find everything you need to have a relaxing and fun vacation. Inside it has a full kitchen with an electric stove. The living room has queen sized sofa beds for extra guests. Gas grill and wood burning Fire pit, hot tub. We allow PETS for a pet fee $30( Service dog too). 1 pet 30 Pounds max, if you want to bring more, please check with me for extra pet cost.

Self-check-in. Guests have access to the entire property.
Other things to note
There is a Smart TV that gets local channels. We provide board games, playing cards. We hope that guests will enjoy relaxing on the Back porch, sitting by the fire pit. Quiet getaway where guests can simply relax away from the city lights and noise. 15 minutes from Scottsburg IN, 50 minutes from Louisville Ky, 25 minutes from Madison In. Several parks within Minutes’ drive that offer fishing, swimming, biking. (Lakeside Camping 4 min, Hardy Lake public Beach 15 min).

I highly recommend this house as the perfect getaway! From bonfire to Hot tub was perfect. It's fully equipped with all the essentials, including a refreshing welcome water in the fridge, coffee, and food containers. The house was clean and had updated amenities, making for a comfortable stay. The view from the back porch? Absolutely beautiful We’ve been staying here for 10days & we surely comeback next week for a week!

Great getaway place

Had an amazing time, they had everything you needed stocked inside. Very quiet and beautiful place for everyone to gather! The owner does pay very close attention to the cameras so make sure you are abiding by the rules, and communicate what you are doing.

Our stay in Deputy was amazing. Just what we needed. A quiet home with lots of room for the 2 of us. A beautiful deck to sit and relax. A great hot tub to finish each day. Dragan was very friendly and kept in touch. Highly recommend this property if you want to get away and yet be close for fun day trips or to go enjoy Hardy Lake.

Perfect lake weekend!

We rented this for a sister get-together. Absolutely lovely property with wonderful access to the lake. Very clean and perfect for us! The deck and hot tub were so perfect for meals outside with a lake view. The host was easy to communicate with and accommodating. This rental is very quiet and private. LOVELY!

Amazing Cabin and Property!

This is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever had. It is secluded and quiet; perfect for a relaxing get away. The cabin is new and well done. Everything we needed was there at check in. The closest Walmart is about 10 miles away, but we would definitely stay here again. The host was wonderful in addressing any and all issues or questions. Prompt and professional. I would rent from him again anytime.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! We had peace and quiet throughout the whole trip! The house and grounds were beautifully clean! We had everything we needed and more! Dragon communicated beyond our expectations and even checked on us for flooding do to the weather! Aside from locating the place our stay for our honeymoon was perfect!

Trip to Indiana to see the family

Wonderful stay! Looking forward to returning to this place next year for our yearly trip. The home was welcoming and the owner was very communicative. I loved the privacy and the access to the lake. The hot tub was so nice to be able to use as well. It felt like home away from home. Even my teenager loved having her own space and bathroom.

Peaceful and Beautiful

I literally can't say enough nice things about this property and my interactions with the homeowner. Beds are comfortable, the cabin spotlessly clean, and the kitchen has everything you need to make meals. As amazing as the inside of the cabin is, the most amazing part is the back porch overlooking the lake. Every morning we enjoyed our cup of coffee on the porch, listening to the birds and wildlife. And then every evening enjoying watching the sun go down over the lake. Can't wait to come back! Thanks Dragan!

Nice rental, bad location and over surveillanced

Very clean and organized house. Plenty of options for “on the water” activity. House has surveillance everywhere and eliminates the element of privacy by making you feel like you’re being watched. Also in a very unfortunate location, hidden by 4 separate backroads.

Hello Noah , I am sorry that you feel that’s way , for security purposes to protect the guest and my property,cameras are watching the front on the parking and left and right of the house. There is no cameras on the back porch. There is a camera watching the kayaks down by the lake ( in case someone want to steal it ) to have proof . All private sector where guests spent time are not under surveillance. I live far away and I have to secure the outside on the front . I hope you enjoy the house and the property. Thank you

Hardy Lake Bliss

What a beautiful property and home, the coved back deck was a great hang out. Hot tub was a four person, trees all around and the lake on two sides made a comfortable and secluded place to hang out. Loved the open design of the home and the bigger than normal TV. Fishing on the lake from the bank was posible and the outdoor firepit and rustic seating was awesome. Dragan the property was very friendly and was very eager to know if there was anyway he could improve his property. I recommend this home if your looking to get away from the hussle and bussle of life and step back to a simple life for a while.

Relaxing stay away from it all

This house appears to be new construction, so there isn't a yard established yet. However, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Between fishing along the lake shore access, making s'mores over the huge fire pit, and unwinding in the hot tub, my family had a fantastic time. Keep in mind, you need to bring all the groceries you need, because you are a long way from shopping. There is a Dollar General a few minutes away, but this was exactly what we were looking for. Hardy Lake was super quiet without a ton of boaters. What a hidden gem! The house itself is lovely with a nice deck looking out toward the lake. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is just the right size, and my family had a lot of fun with the game table in the living area.

A Fantastic Gem, Hidden in the Woods.

I can't say enough good things about our stay here at the Hardy Lake House. It was clean, plenty of amenities and just felt perfectly nestled into the woods for a secluded hideaway. The host is absolutely one of the second-best parts of the experience. Having had a few things not go according to my plans he was extremely accommodating, and his generosity is hard to find in this quickly changing world. I am also a photographer and videographer, and I found there was so much beauty to be captured at and around the Lakehouse that I couldn't even do it all in three days and I can't wait to piece together an awesome video to showcase our experience here at The Hardy Lake House! If you are thinking about a fun get-a-way and want to be AWAY from the city, or maybe you just need to clear your head for a while after a busy year of work, don't think about it any longer, book your trip!
