This beautiful two-bedroom cottage in the amazing grounds of Jungle House located in Vientiane’s rural suburbs; gardens, swimming pool, drinks, dinner with your host & hostess, bed & breakfast, transportation & no extras. Just relax & chill out.
If not already booked, either of the two rooms may be booked individually for half the stated price - US$125 or equivalent in GB£.
The space
This is a very special cottage built out of old timber and clay roofing tiles salvaged from traditional Lao houses. The cottage comprises a central sitting, kitchen and dining area under a high, pitched close-boarded ceiling, with a beautiful bedroom to each side, each with its own shower room. Bedrooms are also accessed from the veranda.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire garden with its swimming pool, and to the main house where they can enjoy pre-dinner drinks, dinner and breakfast. The cottage can be entirely self-sufficient if required.
Other things to note
The cottage is in a large garden - almost one hectare - which is mainly surrounded by a high wall. Access is through the front gate and drive to the main house, or by a dedicated rear gate.
The property is secure.
Lao PDR is a low-income country and roads are slowly improving: some are still not wonderful!
