Bienvenue dans notre maison au bord du lac sur le lac Wallenpaupack. Notre disposition unique vous permet de regarder sur le lac à partir de presque tous les domaines de la maison. Notre grande entrée vous permet de voir vers le bas dans le salon ainsi que le droit au lac. Il y a trois chambres à l'étage avec une salle de bain complète qui ont deux jumeaux dans deux des chambres et un lit queen dans la troisième entrée. Descendez dans le niveau principal de la salle de séjour avec de la pierre au foyer au plafond, cuisine entièrement équipée et une chambre à coucher plus avec une reine et 1 salle de bain avec douche en coin. Xtra espace de couchage est disponible dans le "SUNROOM" qui peut être fermé par les autres chambres avec des portes ou ouvert et utilisé comme une salle familiale / TV. Il ya une buanderie et beaucoup d'espace de pont. L'espace de vie extérieur est abondante avec des sièges et avec vue sur le lac. Profitez de la cuisine le dîner sur le gril de charbon de bois gigantesque qui est sûr de plaire à la mini-chef dans tout le monde. Faites une promenade vers le lac où il n'y a plus de places assises et d'un quai salle assez privé pour 1 bateau et / ou de jet ski. Installez-vous pour quelques magnifiques levers de soleil.

We had a great week at the house and spent a ton of time down by the water on the dock. The house is spacious and the beds are comfortable.

Nice Lake House

The house was very nice and had a great view of the Lake. Its very relaxing to sit on the deck and soak in the environment. I brought a camping hammock and set it up close to the lake and really enjoyed hanging out there (pun intended). There are alot of stairs to get down to the lake from the house.

Awesome short getaway

We did a short getaway for my husbands birthday. The house was amazing, and the property manager was too! Will definitely be going back and staying longer! Loved that we had a private dock, and a close boat launch. The property was absolutely beautiful.

Great Family get away!

We just spent a wonderful week at Blair Hill North with our family there were 6 adults one child. Plenty of space for all. House had all the essentials we needed. There are a lot of steps but really not to bad the dock and a nice spot on the water for swimming makes it worth while. We all had a great time will definitely rent again! Thank you!

Lake house

The house is quite nice but furniture could be arranged better. The lake was very noisy on weekends. Created waves so wouldn't be goodfor young children.

Awesome spot

Great spot, clean, great parking availability, private boat launch right down the road, more beds and rooms than advertised which was great. Back deck and fire pit were good as well. Had a great time with some family and friends. Bit steep but that’s most of paupac properties, more or less a warning to the handicapped.

We enjoyed the house but it had many more steps than we had inticipated. Also it was a little shabby, especially outside., The dock was great.

Family Vacation

My family spent a week at this beautiful location. The house was exactly as described and the kitchen was fully stocked for all our cooking needs. The location was perfect. While the property does have some steps to make it to the dock this is common for lake front property. This was our first vacation with our 7 year old golden retriever and she loved the lake, jumping off the dock, and swimming with us. We will be back!

House of many steps

The house was all we expected, parking area and all the steps wears not so desirable. But it was a nice place to stay other than that and we all had a good time even though it rained the entire weekend.

Beautiful property, difficult terrain

The house is beautiful, even though the pictures are accurate, the amount of steps were overwhelming. We did not have a place to eat as a family except for the table on the deck which was not an option for us. The roads were narrow and made towing our boat quite tricky. Overall our stay was pleasant.

Great Stay

Had a great week. The upper deck is huge and is where we spent most of our time. House can get a little tight in the common areas if you have a large group and you’re stuck inside. Thankfully we had great weather for most of the week. No lighting down the steps to the lower deck or by the water, that made the trek down to those areas a little difficult after the sun went down.

Great stay beautiful cabin

Overally we were so happy with our stay and the location was amazing if you are into water activities. The weekend was ideal for water activities but we thouht the cabin has canoe as it was listed in the amenities. The lake was too busy and wavy for paddle boarding but we still enjoyed it. The cabin jtself was amazing, had a huge deck and we could enjoy the meals on the deck. The only concern we had was that the lights on the deck were solar and didn’t work out well. Luckily we had headlamps because the stairs could be very unsafe at night.

Nice place but lots of stairs

The house has more stairs than I realized, which was an issue for my older parents but we made due. Location on the lake was great and the private dock was a must for us. The downside of the house was cobwebs and dust accumulated in corners, the unprotected Wi-Fi (not as advertised) and the lack of hooks or hangers inside for bath towels. Luckily there was a dollar store nearby so we bought some hooks. Also the outside light over the deck did not work and did not get fixed during our stay so we couldnt sit out and play cards at night. My family and I have vacationed at Lake Wallenpaupack for over 25 years and we very much enjoyed being there.

Problems right away

Right when we got there the dock was broken we had two people slip and fall on dock it wasn’t safe. The basement AC wasn’t working. The garbage company wasn’t coming to pick up the trash so animals got to it. Besides those headaches, Over all we had a great time Cindy was great it’s a lot of fun and beautiful on lake Wallenpaupack

Fabulous

Fantastic property. Great views, right by the lake. Super clean, fresh, great vibe. Quiet; hardly heard any neighbors or parties. Beautiful home, cozy, large, spacious. Wonderful decks and amenities. We couldn't get the DVD player to work and some of TV stuff was unplugged. I wish there was an instruction manual to help navigate this. It was just two of us so it was way more house than we needed but it was the only thing available. Was totally worth the price and time to get there. (we live 5 hours away) The only bummer was that there are snakes in the lake, which scared my partner to death and prevented us from feeling safe swimming there. So we just enjoyed the house, views and quiet. Some excellent restaurants around. #1 was Fairview Cafe. Fantastic.

Great stay at Briar Hill

We really enjoyed our stay at Briar Hill. The property is in a terrific location right on Lake Wallenpaupack with gorgeous views from the house and easy, private access to the water. The outdoor decks and spaces were terrific, but definitely would want to note that there are many steps/staircases on the property and this can be difficult for those less ambulatory. The house fit our party of 9 very comfortably and there were plenty of sleeping options. Make sure you open the house guide a few days in advance to know exactly what you need to pack and bring. The home does not provide any linens so you will need your own towels and bed linens. Other items (such as dish soap, paper products, etc) are all offered in moderation so you definitely want to bring your own TP, paper towels, garbage bags, zip lock bags, dish washer soap, etc. You also need to bring your own spices, oils, condiments, etc that you may want for cooking or to accompany any dishes you make. We had a lovely time visiting in the fall, and it was peaceful and quiet. I'm sure it gets busier in the summer months and is probably a lot of fun on the lake at that time. For us, it was a great fall trip!

Family vacation

It is a lovely area and very busy lake The house was nice , large and had a fully equipped kitchen . Very scenic views of the lake from house and decks I'm sorry to say there was an odor much like soured milk in the first floor bedroom that we couldn't get rid of . The living room area was small and with dining table set up, it got smaller ( Table folded against stairs ) several of the folding chairs intended for dining chairs were broken others were used to hold lamps as end tables ( dangerous with kids) The house had great decks so that didn't matter much on sunny days we could be outdoors, except the railings were not regulation in height which was extremely dangerous for our toddlers The oversized table umbrella was broken so it drooped over the table. We trailered our boat up ( 4hours) and we very pleased with the dock situation . It was large and well maintained . We had to go out and purchase light bulbs and the light outside the kitchen door needs repaired . All in all we enjoyed our trip, in spite of some bad weather. The house is 'Shabby ' and needs some attention but we always love getting together . You really felt you were in the mountains .

I'm happy to say the carpeting on the first floor has been replaced with solid surface as well as the hallway carpeting. It's possible you were getting an odor from that. Our charcoal grill has also been replaced by a propane BBQ grill and the outdoor furniture that sustained "injuries" over last summer have been disposed of. We're looking forward to a great summer and welcome anyone with questions to please call. Thanks

Beautiful View

The property had a great view of the lake. The house was clean and the beds comfortable. A very enjoyable weekend with friends sitting around the fire.
