Gorgeous home, perfect location for a snowmobile trip. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We were only a party of four but originally intended to travel with more. This house has plenty for room for a large group.We would definitely come back.

The house was great! Clean, comfortable, and plenty of room. Great communication with the owner. Close to the snowmobile trails. The fireplaces are gas.

Comfortable house, good location to explore the Moosehead region. Close to down town restaurants and shops. Enjoyed our stay!

Clean and Comfortable

Clean and comfortable cabin in the Greeenville area. The beds were amazing and super comfortable. Loved all the furniture and the projector screen. Would definitely stay there again!

Our stay was lovely. It accommodated 9 of us very nicely. It was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of space. The owner was very responsive; always responded quickly. We could ride the ATV trails right from the cabin, which is always something we prefer. We were, also, very close to downtown Greenville and not far from Rockwood. We were able to shop and dine along the waterfront, which was also something we love to do. Though we were disappointed we weren't on the lake this year, it was truly a very nice stay.

Just what we needed

Our week stay at MooseHaus was very enjoyable, the location was halfway between great Fly fishing and stores and gas. All 5 guys had their own rooms. Only a couple of minor glitches that Ellen responded to quickly. Would definitely stay again

Couples snowmobile trip

This was our first time there. We liked it right away. Plenty of beds, space to hang out. We always bring to much food and cooking in the kitchen was no problem. There is plenary of parking for trucks and trailers. Dawn was quick to respond to any questions we had. All in all a great place to stay. Looking forward to our next trip there.

Snowmobile trip

Second year staying at this property. Parking is great. The ability to ride out of the property without having to trailer is a huge bonus. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of beds for a big group. The host is great, and easy to communicate with. We have stayed at a bunch of properties in Moosehead area, and this one is one of the best we jave stayed at.

Perfect off-water location

This house was perfect for my group who was in town for our friend’s birthday festivities on Moosehead. We were literally across the street from the camp road we needed to get to, the house has plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms & the comfiest beds for our group, and the teenagers loved the huge projector & popcorn machine in the basement. Clean house, great kitchen/living room area, plenty of parking & a location just minutes from town. Perfect spot! Thank you for being a great host!

MooseHaus is Awesome

We were in town for a wedding and this modern, immaculate, and spacious house was perfect for my wife and I and another couple. In fact, there was enough room for three other couples. We took advantage of the projector and very large screen on the entry level to watch a movie one night. Great communication from Ellen. I would rent again in a flash.

Great location

A group of us go snowmobiling every year and we decided to go Moosehead Lake this year. Home was exactly as pictured. Very comfortable and clean. Kitchen well stocked with everything you would need. Beds were super comfortable. Trail located right behind the house after short ride through woods. Parking was more than enough for trucks and trailers. Would definitely go back. Host was extremely easy to reach with any questions. Host even contacted us when my husband left his wedding band behind.

Beautiful Modern Cabin

We really loved the cabin and it’s beautiful decor. The light rustic wood and modern amenities were a big hit. Short drive to downtown Greenville and not too far from Rockwood, where we rented a boat for a day out on the lake. The cabin is stunning, although a little close to the road. It’s also very roomy with many different areas to relax. Modern appliances were nice. Easy checkin and checkout. Our hostess was easy to contact when a car accident in Greenville knocked out all of the power for a short time. Would definitely stay again.

Great Maine woods experience.

Beautiful home that accommodated all 8 of us easily. The beds were AMAZING! Air conditioning in the bedrooms would have been nice but only because we like a very cool room to sleep in. We had a couple of moose sightings nearby which was fun. This was a very positive experience. We would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous Time

We had a wonderful time staying here! Saw two moose right nearby. Saw family close by and spent time relaxing. The property owner was extremely responsive and helpful. We actually ordered the same mattress they had while we were still there, as we slept like babies. We traveled with grandparents, great-grandparents and children and all of us enjoyed our stay with no complaints.
