If you listen closely, you may hear the calls of the resident bald eagle and her two chicks. Your cabin is definitely a nature lover's peaceful retreat! Please note that there are all sorts of wildlife in the mountains so you may consider bringing your favorite repellent and be sure to do what you can to not bring them into the cabin with you. And, when booking any cabin in the woods, you will expect to encounter insects, spiders and other wildlife. It is part of the experience. Your cabin is not hermetically sealed so bugs, spider, and all sorts of wildlife may enter the property. Please keep the doors closed so they do not enter unexpectedly.

Cute, Cozy and Comfortable
This darling, historic cabin is thoughtfully furnished with everything needed for a memorable stay. It’s definitely not cookie-cutter! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, the deck relaxing, Blackstone Griddle a dream, and - after a long day of hiking - the water pressure in the shower was terrific. Close to local hiking trails, a coffee, stand, restaurant, and grocery store. Around 30 minutes from Yellowstone National Park and less than 2 hours from Grand Teton NP. There are plenty of wonderful places to visit. We explored Johnny Sacks historic cabin and watched a moose munching in the springs just down the road. And a night at Island Park’s Yellowstone Playhouse is a must.
