The Quiet House in Woodland Park

While staying in The Quiet House, you will experience the charm of Woodland Park in our beautiful 3BD/BA home. Tucked in the lush wooded area of the town. Less than a mile away from restaurants, coffee shops, bars, cute little shops, and a tiny cute dine-in movie theater.

A few minutes drive to several amazing hiking trails and several excellent fishing lakes and streams 15-20 minutes drive to Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak.
At the end of the adventure-filled day relax by the fire pit or in the hot tub.

Throughout your stay be prepared to receive a visit from deer, squirrels, birds, and occasionally a local neighborhood bear.

PLEASE DO NOT FEED WILD ANIMALS.

1st Floor:
Master bedroom king bed, full bathroom, simple but sufficient gym, and reading space.

2nd Floor:
Bedroom 2: Twin-size bed
Bedroom 3: Twin bunk bed, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen

Living room:

Lovely Cabin

Enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Very spacious and accommodating! Loved the outdoor firepit and the feeling of being far out of town while at the same time being very close â˜ș

A Quiet Place is a great place!

The property is in a great location in a quiet neighborhood. It had a nice layout for our group of five people. We checked in without any problems and the owner was easy to communicate with through out trip.We

Beautiful cozy hillside cabin

This beautiful quaint little cabin is named "The Quiet Place" and it truly is that. Perched on a hillside Woodland park with beautiful views of the mountains. Made for the perfect sunrise soak in the hot tub! Id reccomend this to anyone i kmow!

The Quiet Place Experience

We were regularly visited by deer and squirrels and birds. The forest was quiet as were the neighbors. It's a very cute home very woodsy and we would love to stay there again.

Home smelled like dog pee so bad we could not go into two of the bedrooms and had to have the rug taken away. Hot tub is broke and can’t keep its temperature. Home is clearly not maintained well and not scrubbed clean after people leave. There was a condom under the bed in the basement. Charged 4k for 27 days and the house was falling apart and gross.

Perfect stay for the wilderness lover

Communication was flawless. Home as described. Owner has a couple of requests that are perfectly reasonable. Remove shoes at door and don't take food into bedrooms. We were "greeted" (they hung out in the driveway) by a doe and her fawn the first day and regular visits throughout the week. Large windows allow for viewing of wildlife in yard, including chipmunks & hummingbirds. Home supplied with necessary items. I had communicated with owner about a blender, which was not available, so I brought my own. Location is wonderful for outdoor enthusiast. We had hiking trails within minutes of home, disc golf courses, the Royal Gorge and so many other places we didn't have time to visit. The town is charming! Grocery store, health food store and Walmart are all very close and even have thrift stores right in town. I was in heaven. I fell in love with this area and hope to return next year. I have to add that because I wasn't in good physical shape before traveling from our home in Florida I was concerned about adapting to the elevation level, especially as I was driving up the mountain, but that proved to be a NON issue. I could notice a difference when going up and down the stairs but not enough to be a concern. I slept well at night and woke up refreshed every day. I am determined to get back in shape so I can climb some of the mountains my husband climbed and enjoyed.

We are family of 5; Alex is born in Ukraine and moved to U. S 2003. Arra is born in Philippines and moved to U.S 2004. We have three kids; 9, 7, and 5 years old they all speak and understand Ukrainian and Tagalog.

We enjoyed hiking, fishing 🎣 , and picking mushrooms 🍄.

Since the day we move in Woodland Park we enjoyed the quiet and privacy. We love it because we are walking distance to grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, etc.
