Spring Break 2025

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Larkspur. The location is ideally located within walking distance to all the restaurants/shops and the bus stop for skiing is very close. From an amenities standpoint, Larkspur has it all: from the kitchen to the bedrooms along with private hot tub; this place has it all. Our family would easily book at Academy Place again.

Beautiful accommodations in a great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a lovely place for the gathering of our family who rented two units. It felt very fresh, clean and up to date in its vibe. The kitchens were well supplied for cooking with little extras provided like a bottle of counter spray to clean the counters, olive oil, salt and pepper, saran wrap, aluminum foil, and baggies. The location was super convenient with its location just a block from a great grocery store as well as one of the free shuttle stops. Also just a few blocks to the main drag with all the shops and restaurants. I would love to stay again.

Beautiful and Well Appointed Property

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at Larkspur in Academy Place. The property is as lovely as the pictures portray. It was clean and pretty much looked and felt brand new both inside and in the beautiful courtyard. The location is great as it is close to anything in town as well as a quick drive up to the base of the mountain and many hiking trails. Communication with management was excellent from beginning to end and they made themselves available for questions anytime. The roof deck has stunning views, and the grill and hot tub were convenient and fun. The only thing I will say is that the house sleeps seven, but the sitting room is a bit small for that size of a group. We had five and there were just enough seats for us. The dining table is right there so there is a place to sit, just not the comfy living chairs. Although the dining table chairs were also surprisingly comfortable. The only other thing I would mention is that you are very close to the intersection where trucks are driving through starting pretty early in the morning so it can get kind of loud. But the convenience of the location can't be beat. We walked right across the street to the concert at the art center and walked to dinner, and coffee many days. There is an espresso machine in the apartment so you can also just make your own coffee, espresso, lattes, etc! I would definitely recommend Larkspur and am guessing that anywhere in Academy Place would be great!

AMAZING stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We visited as two couples — one stayed downstairs and one upstairs — and everyone loved the beds, bedding, bathrooms, robes, soaps, and all the thoughtful amenities. The kitchen setup was incredible, truly something a chef would appreciate. They seemed to think of everything. You can arrive with just your clothes and a quick stop at the store for food. A special thank‐you to Siena for arranging massages and dinner. We absolutely loved our stay!
