Very cozy cabin with a phenomenal view of the lake. It was a perfect weekend getaway. Very clean and Jamie was great for any questions we had.

I noticed that your review was lower than we strive for, and I would love to hear if there was anything we could have done differently to make your stay a 5-star experience. We are always looking for ways to improve and provide the best possible service for our guests. I also wanted to mention something I observed after checkout. The back sliding door was left open when the home was vacated, which unfortunately allowed insects to enter the property. As a result, we had to have a pest control company come out and treat the home. I wasn't planning to bring it up, but I thought it would be helpful to mention for future stays. The spot had gorgeous views and included all the outdoor easy living amenities. The neighborhood was very friendly, quiet and private. The home was furnished well and host was quick to respond. The grill was ready to use, and the fire pit was a great addition. Definitely would recommend this spot. We were close to see Mammoth caves and Lincolns various landmarks and Memorial sight.

Spring Getaway

Great little place with a terrific view of the lake! Enjoyed hiking at Mammoth Cave (50 minutes away), drinks by the fire and coffee on the deck listening to the morning birds at sunrise.

Check in was quick and easy, great communication and so accommodating! We were even able to come a day early at the last minute to avoid camping in a tornado. Large spacious room, plenty of space for our family of 4. The fire pit and grill were an extra bonus! I’m sure it’s even better when it’s not freezing outside!

We had a wonderful Mothers Day weekend! Our host was very gracious and welcoming, and the property was lovely. We had a little trouble getting in, and she immediately called to make sure we could get settled quickly, which was truly appreciated with a tired toddler in tow haha. The deck overlooking the lake is very cool! We were able to have Wendy’s delivered in the morning, but mostly plan to drive for food, as it’s somewhat remote. The kitchen in the house is very nice and equipped for cooking for the family, and there is a grill on the deck too. Hope to stay here again one day!

Property was as described in terms of amenities and very clean. Location great for lake activities although we used it to visit parks, go kayaking and other activities (so lots of driving). Locale places tend to work on a long weekend schedule so closed Monday to Wednesday. Leichfield is the closest place with more restaurants and stuff. Host was very reachable and helpful but no real problems to solve. Word of caution, Apple maps led us to street but not the house so read the address numbers on the houses to find it. Lastly the tabletop arcade game was fun distraction especially if you remember the old arcade games. We would stay here again.

Tranquility

Our stay was very short but good. We enjoyed the peaceful scenery from the back porch view of the woods and lake. The hospitality from the host was amazing and communicated in a very timely manner ensuring all check-in information was provided prior to our arrival.
