Gem of a location

We stayed 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The home was very clean and was the perfect size for our family. Located within walking distance to the downtown shops which was such a delight. The owner communicated with us exceptionally well and there were no issues. It felt like home to us and solidified why we prefer this to a hotel room any day!! Hope there is a reason for us to return to Whitesboro down the road. Highly recommend!!

Its good for a night

Small property and noisy neighborhood. I pulled up to the wrong unit and the person staying there was extremely rude. The owner didnt let me know details until 9:30 at night. Cute place.

It small but all we needed. Just a few issues like the door did not shut firmly. There were only 2 towels for 2 people and 3 nights. No bath mat on the slippery floor. The dishwasher leaked. The air conditioner works great and the beds were comfortable.

Nice, Cozy Property

The property was clean and comfortable. The owner was nice and easy to work with on issues of the property. The major issue was the energy efficient hot water heater that worked off and on during the week I stayed at the property. In the end, the water heater quite working altogether despite my repeated attempts at getting it to work. The owner offered to put me in another property but I was done. The owner did refund me the remaining 3 nights I did not stay. The owner needs to resolve the issue with the hot water heater. When someone rents a property the 2 thing necessary are electricity and hot water.,

Pictures are worth a Thousand words, but being there paints a better picture.

The night before our stay, I messaged the owner, and asked for the property access. I didn't hear from him until after the check-in time, when we arrived.Had a problem right away with the water heater. Owner didn't come over to help us, just told us to reset it. We had problems with it the entire time we were there and it does leak.Main reasons I wanted to stay in this property, instead of a motel, was a kitchen/washer and dryer. Both were dirty when we arrived, so we spent time cleaning both. The washing machine has rust inside. Both the washer/dryer are very loud, but they work. There were crumbs all over the kitchen counter and in the microwave. The silverware in the drawer was dirty, so we used plastic the whole week. Previous reviews said the dishwasher leaks, so we didn't use it. The one thing that really surprised us, was the dog hair that was all over the couch and one of the beds. We bought lint rollers the next day and tried to clean up all the dog hair that we could...on the couch and on our clothes. There is a gap under the front door. When we first entered, there was dirt and grass on the floor. We could see out the front door glass, so I'm sure others can see in. The walls are thin, could hear the neighbor talking on her phone at 1 a.m. Neighborhood is quiet, the trains are not.No check out instructions were given but we cleaned all but the sheets.Owner stated he had stayed there the night before. He should have checked out the property more thoroughly.
