Clean and convenient

The property was just as described. There are so many restaurants and shops right outside the door. Yet also quiet. Perfect if you are also seeking train access.

We booked this studio for a 3-night stay but had to leave after the first night because the toilet was not working, making the unit uninhabitable for us. We contacted the host immediately, but they insisted the toilet had been working and that the unit had been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. The apartment was noticeably dirty upon check-in. We found dirty floors, ants crawling around, dusty vents and intercom, stained cabinets, worn fixtures, damaged walls, dirty grout and caulking, and a fake plant covered in dust. The overall condition of the studio was much more run-down than the listing suggested.Because we did not have a usable toilet, we had to leave the following morning and requested a refund for the remaining two nights that we were unable to stay. The host refused, stating everything was working before we arrived, and eventually stopped responding to our messages. VRBO also denied our refund request.We understand that older properties can have imperfections, but cleanliness, honesty, and a functioning bathroom are basic expectations for any rental. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet those standards. We would not stay here again and hope this review helps future guests make an informed decision.We took photos documenting the condition of the unit upon arrival, including the cleanliness issues. We were disappointed not only by the condition of the property but also by the lack of communication and accountability after we reported the problems.

Overall everything was great. Super clean exept the bowls in the kitchen were a little dirty. First message i sent to the property manager did not get answered for multiple hours so I had to message them again. After the second message communication was great. I had a great stay at this place.

Not match expectations

The place was not as clean and as put together as the pictures showed. I shared existing issues to the host. The host did not follow-up as fast. On the plus side, the place was quiet and had decent heating for frigid cold winters in January.
