I could have hosted a small dinner party with the amount of beautiful kitchen supplies and dish ware. We slept 6 comfortably no problem. The upper master bathroom was “the hit” spot for showers. It’s absolutely beautiful and room is large. We are well traveled and the view was unparalleled. If doing pets I’d recommend a spring doorway style gate and prepare to have a potty plan. There is no flat grass anywhere. We ended up doing puppy pee pads in parking lot because mine was picky. Drive up the mountain is nicely paved and maintained. It is about 15 stressful minutes up or down for us flatlanders. Switchbacks and blind turns. Which is expected for views like those. Parking lot is enormous. Love there is a small area set up with seating and fire bowl at edge of lot ready for the fun to start. Easy drives to downtown Waynesville and Maggie Valley. Close enough to grocery stores, fast food and local shopping spots. It easily checked all our boxes. Highly recommend

Great place in the mountains...

Nice 2 story house. Great views. All the rooms were big. Everything was updated. Fun drive up the mountain. Would love to stay here again.

Wonderful view but a few problem areas

Pro- Great views of the mountains Cons- Altitude is 3800 feet not 4500. Back deck railing is dangerous for young children and pets as there is a two foot gap and a 40 a forty foot drop. All other units have this the railing fenced in. Linens are old and need to be replaced. Much of the unit needs an update.

Amazing Views

This little Villa is such a gem. We stayed one entire week here and didn’t want to come back home. The villa was so comfortable and the views are the best you’re gonna get. We will definitely return here again. A few things we did to make our stay a little more comfortable. We bought a pillow top foam cover for the mattress and two extra pillows. The bed is very firm and we prefer it to be soft. We brought our Roku device and hooked it up to the tv in the living room so we could stream shows in the evening. We also brought our own propane heater so we could sit outside at night to enjoy the views without freezing to death. The only thing about this place that is a minor inconvenience is that it does not have air conditioning. Although we didn’t use air conditioning on our trip due to the cold weather, it does create a bit of a smell that is unpleasant when something sits with no air circulation for long periods of time. None of this is to the point that we wouldn’t return to this cabin and despite it I feel like the price was fair. I just want to leave a review so that people know what to expect. I would also like to add that the owner was very prompt in his response when we needed to get in to the villa. We accidentally locked ourselves out and he had someone open the villa for us within a span of 15 minutes. Definitely worth the money and I have fond memories of this vacation.

It was a one night stay & caused much fatigue & breathing problems with the air inside the cabin. We had trouble breathing & the smell was of old mold & dirt present - cleanliness was not present

Our N. Carolina Vay Cay

The unit was excellent almost everything Was provided. Exception was a blender so I could have my morning smoothie. I would also suggest the owner should make a picket balcony fence like the other units as we worried about our small dogs. Otherwise everything was terrific and we enjoyed our stay! 👍

Can't Get Enough of the View

We have stayed at this property for the past 5 years and we love everything about it! The view is outstanding and you don't have to go far up the mountain to enjoy it. It is close to Waynesville and Maggie Valley, and our favorite restaurant is The Sweet Onion. The condo kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need. The owner is very responsive to any questions. We highly recommend this property😁

Amazing views

This cabin was perfect for my family to say goodbye 2022 and hello to 2023. The views are amazing!! Fog settled in the valley several mornings and it was absolutely beautiful! The ride up is not bad but would be difficult if there were ice or snow. The cabin was clean and just the right size for us. My only complaint would be the pots and pans could stand to be replaced. The owner is very helpful and responded quickly. We even left something behind and they contact us about it. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful cabin.

The cabin is very nice, very clean and super equipped. We traveled to spend Christmas there and it was super wonderful, my family really enjoyed it and we plan to return. Thank you Korie for all your attention and your prompt communication.

Thanksgiving with a view

Excellent long range mountain views, best views in 10 yrs of going to waynesville/maggie valley for thanksgiving. Road up is nice, paved all the way, unless iced over, regular car could make it up/down. Villa had way more than enough room for the 2 of us. Only knock would be that the kitchen pots need to be replaced with non-scratched up teflon, there was only one that was not teflon that we used. I grilled 3 meals outside including the thanksgiving bird, so we where fine.

Like everyone has said "million dollar view!!!" We definitely want to go back!

Very nice! The million dollar view was beautiful ever morning. This morning was really nice! Looked like snow & mountains were peeking thru the snow! GORGEOUS! Did have trouble turning on the TV. Please leave instructions how to turn it on. Two seniors & it took us forever! We turned it on, then off & couldn't figure how to turn it again! Finally got it! Will definitely come back! Next time we'll have family and/or friends! Tks for your hospitality!

Perfect North Carolina Getaway! The deck and view of the Smoky Mountains....awesome!

Everyone really enjoyed this property and hated to leave! We spent most of our time on the wonderful deck staring and taking videos of the scenery. The owner of the property was so kind and helpful, my first time renting through VRBO but will do it again. The house was lovely and no problems. The only thing we we weren't crazy about was having to load up the garbage and take into town to dump.

No Air Conditioning

* no air conditioning *no air conditioning I expect that when I rent a place in the south that there is air conditioning. This villa doesn't! There was no mention that this villa does NOT have air conditioning. It was unbearable, we could not get cool even with taking cold showers. We left early and notified the owner why. I also asked for a partial refund and have not had any response from the owner.

Great spot

The view was great. House was cute. The local town is nice as well. Would avoid long wheelbase trucks unless your handy with it. There are tight curves getting up to the house. Wasn’t trouble for us just something to note.

Love this property!

This is our third year to stay in this villa. The view is outstanding, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked. We also like the fact that we can bring our dog. The restaurants in Waynesville are wonderful; The Sweet Onion is our favorite. We plan to come back next year. We highly recommend this property.

NC Getaway

This is a very nice property with a beautiful view from the back deck. This house is built on the side of a mountain so the road to reach it is a switchback. It is a narrow and winding road so you need to be very careful when going up and down it There isn't any side or backyard, so if you have a pet, you will need to take it for a walk. The house itself is well appointed. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The owner reached out to us a couple of days after we arrived to make sure there wasn't anything we needed. The house is located about 10 minutes from the town of Waynesville, which is very quaint with restaurants and shops. It is also about 30 minutes from other major attractions and areas like the Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville, the Biltmore Estate and the Smoky Mountains. We would stay here again!

Mountain Retreat

What a wonderful retreat in the mountains! I picked this place because of the view - figuring that even if it rained the entire week of the trip, I would be content with a view like this. Well, the view did not disappoint. The pictures simply can't capture it. The town is also so cute - I had a nice time visiting the local shops. From Kanini's restaurant, to Bocelli's Italian place, to the Waynesville soda company (they sell the local soda in the shops but stop by the actual store and buy some to take home!! It's wonderful - I highly recommend the Blackberry flavor). The location is close to Asheville - so a perfect day trip over to see Biltmore or to poke around downtown in Asheville. Other close trips nearby to Maggie Valley, Sylva, Cherokee, etc for exploring/hiking. Thank you for a lovely week to retreat away in the mountains. The road up the mountain to the house is fully paved and clearly marked. GPS also works like a charm despite being up in the mountains. I'm glad that I drove it in the daylight for the first time (it's pretty steep and I live in a flat city) - but I was very used to it after a few trips up/down.

Great trip!

We had a wonderful stay! Pros: Cabin was overall great and the view was amazing! We had plenty of room for six. Bedrooms are big and cable is great in the bedrooms. Love the fact that you can self check-in with a lockbox. They had plenty of extras that you don’t normally find with a rental and kitchen was fully stocked. Cons: We had unseasonably warm temperatures during our stay and the website wasn’t clear that no air conditioning is available but luckily, it was still somewhat comfortable. It’s pretty rare to find a property with no AC and it would definitely be needed from spring-fall so even a window unit would be nice. Having to haul off your own trash is very inconvenient. Overall, we would stay here again and had a great time!
