Whispering Woods Tracy City

Welcome to Whispering Woods, a 3 bedroom retreat nestled among towering Oaks and Hemlocks. This house has been freshly renovated and appointed with brand new mattresses. The kitchen is equipped with basic items for to cooking and preparing meals. Open concept dining area opens up to the cozy living room with new furniture. Each bedroom has it's own closet and luggage rack for plenty of storage. The bathroom with tub / shower combo is centrally located to the three bedrooms.
The garage has been transformed into a (heated and air conditioned!) game room, complete with ping pong table and assortment of games.

Enjoy cooking out on the covered patio, roasting s'mores by the fire pit, or hanging out on the hammock in the private front yard. This house has everything you need to relax and enjoy a weekend in Tennessee's South Cumberland.

Centrally located to both Tracy City and Monteagle. 20 minutes to the Caverns music venue in Pelham.
50 minutes to Chattanooga, 90 minutes to Nashville.

Important Note: Ladybugs are very common in our region. Certain times a year we do experience some ladybugs inside of homes. Please know that all lady bugs are removed by housekeepers during the cleaning process, but are likely to be back quite quickly in large quantities.

Booking was easy. Great communication from host/management co. House was decent and clean. Could use additional hangars and hooks for coats. . We had a great time and would come back again.

Good spot for The Caverns

This spot was 20min away from the Caverns, and was pretty cozy, yet spacious for our crew. Be prepared if you plan to cook, there is very limited kitchen cookware/supplies, hence the 4 stars. Aside from this, it was what we were looking for.

Nice small home

The house itself was well maintained. Was a little hard to find as there was no street sign. Did notice some fruit flies and the bathtub felt like it had water underneath the tub liner.

Very clean and well furnished. Kitchen and bathroom minimally stocked and there is no dishwasher. (Listing says there is.). Lovely outdoor space and ping pong table. Ask the property manager for directions - the road to turn onto is not marked and looks like a private drive. 15 minutes from Sewanee in a very quiet spot. Property manager was very responsive.

Nice little place.

Clean, spacious, just as described. My only constructive comment is that it would be nice if there was a roll of paper towels provided in the kitchen. Very minor comment, which did not impact stay or my top rating of this property. The fire pit was well stocked with wood and it was a peaceful area. Great property at a great value.

Unexpected weather

Unfortunatly there was bad weather that lead to road closures. We were unable to get back to the rental. The host was great at coming up with a solution and letting us stay enough the next day to get our bearing and grab a shower.
