Very nice cabin. Great layout for our family of seven: grandparents, parents and 14,12 & 9 year olds. Loved the location: on a stream amongst wooded mountains yet close enough to the town of Ellijay. We enjoyed the fire pit, the sound of the rushing and the starry night sky.

Breathtaking Scenery

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the balcony, the views of the expansive creek can only be described as incredible. Walking down the well crafted path toward the creek, on your way to an expansive fire pit, your eyes bring you views that are hard to describe. Sitting around the fire pit, at waters edge, the sound of the rushing water is mesmerizing. Tired of the rat race, want an escape, this is the place.

We had a lovely weekend and weren't even inconvenienced by a power outage, thanks to the generator on property.

PERFECT Family getaway right on the water!

We were thrilled at how clean the cabin was, the access to the water, firepit area is amazing we had a blast making s'mores and memories. The kids and adults enjoyed the game room. The cabins had everything we could have asked for. This is going to be our go to cabin for future visits to Ellijay.

Seriously, travel with our furry family member was never more enjoyable or easy. Sliding Rock Cabins are amazing and this property could not have been more perfect. Our pup and typically phone attached children were in the creek within 5 minutes of arrival. The rocking chairs on the main porch were perfect for morning coffee with the grandparents. This house was perfect for our family of 8. If you are looking for an amazingly private sanctuary that is also a stones throw from everything you need this home is your place. And if you have a pup....I wouldn't want to rent from anyone else then Sliding Rock! We are so grateful for our time in this beautiful spot.
