Maison Specatulaire à Ogunquit avec chemin d'accès à Marginal Way!

La maison a tous les nouveaux meubles. Ce seront les meilleures vacances que vous ayez jamais eues dans cette maison spectaculaire! Cette maison a été construite en 1890 et a été entièrement rénovée et modernisée tout en conservant le charme d'une maison ancienne. Vous serez impressionné par son caractère. Il fait 1848 pieds carrés et se trouve sur près d'un demi-acre dans l'un des endroits les plus recherchés d'Ogunquit. Il dispose de quatre chambres et 3 salles de bain complètes. Il a de superbes planchers de bois franc partout. Une cheminée dans le salon avec tous les plafonds aux poutres apparentes fait vraiment ressortir le caractère de cette maison. A l'étage, il y a trois chambres avec lits queen size. La chambre principale dispose également d'un petit canapé convertible où un petit enfant pourrait facilement dormir. En bas, il y a une grande pièce qui est parfaite pour la chambre des enfants. Il y a deux lits superposés avec des lits doubles en bas et des lits jumeaux en haut. Il y a aussi un canapé-lit gigogne et une chaise futon supplémentaire qui se retire sur un lit simple. La maison est parfaitement adaptée pour que quelques familles partagent leurs vacances. Les parents sont à l'étage - paisible et tranquille - les enfants sont en bas. Les salles de bain sont toutes si uniques! Ils ont été magnifiquement mis à jour, mais le look des années 1800 a été maintenu ~ on a même une baignoire sur pattes. La cuisine est magnifique. Il a du granit noir avec des armoires blanches et a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour cuisiner un repas gastronomique. L'intérieur de la maison est certainement suffisant pour vous séduire, mais lorsque vous sortirez, vous saurez à quel point vous avez eu de la chance de trouver cette location! Il y a presque un demi-acre d'une belle cour paysagée. Il y a un porche enveloppant avec tous les nouveaux meubles. Il y aura quatre nouvelles chaises longues en teck et un canapé en rotin, deux chaises et des tables. Il y aura également une table pour quatre personnes avec des chaises et un parapluie. Descendez dans le patio avec un barbecue à gaz entouré de fleurs magnifiques. C'est tellement privé que vous ne vous rendriez jamais compte à quel point vous êtes proche de Marginal Way. Si vous regardez au bout de la cour, vous verrez la porte qui vous mènera sur le chemin de l'océan magnifique et de Marginal Way. Vous pouvez aller à pied à tout depuis cet endroit! Tournez à droite et vous pouvez être à Perkins Cove en 10 minutes. Tournez à gauche et vous serez dans le village du centre-ville d'Ogunquit en 10 minutes. Vous ne pouvez tout simplement pas battre cet endroit. Vous pouvez garer votre voiture dans l'allée et la laisser là toute la semaine. Vous pouvez marcher jusqu'à la plage et tous les grands restaurants et magasins qu'Ogunquit offre. Ce seront des vacances que vous n'oublierez jamais!

We had a lovely summer week in Ogunquit. The property is very sweet, the kitchen was well outfitted with cooking tools and clean. The yard was perfect for outdoor home cooked lobster and yard games. The living room is perfect for relaxing and watching a summer blockbuster film on rainy evenings. On warm evenings it is an easy stroll on the marginal way to visit an ice cream shop. Enjoy!

Loved the location, easy to walk to town or the cove. Entrance to Marginal Way is out the back gate so a short walk in the morning to watch the sunrise. Great large living room and porch. House was very clean, organized. Property manager was very helpful for those minor issues.

A Great House Only Minutes From the Marginal Way

Large Living Room, Kitchen, covered/uncovered Porch with lots of seating, beautiful yard where the kids played happily! Outside shower to warm up and wash of sand after a day at the beach! Only a few minutes walk to the Marginal Way and the "Little" Beaches ---> walk across the sandbar to the river and "Big" Beach at low tide! More-or-less equidistant from Perkins Cove and "Downtown"...walk almost anywhere (including the Ogunquit Playhouse! Short drives to Cape Neddick (Nubble Lighthouse), York and Kittery to the South or Wells (Congdon's Doughnuts) and Kennybunkport (Seashore Trolley Museum) to the North A great place to celebrate our 50th anniversary with family and friends!

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this Beachmere property! We've stayed for years at the Beachmere Inn, but outgrew the room sizes. Staying here, just a stones throw away, was the perfect option. Close in proximity to many activities, while plenty of space at the home for those days where we wanted to stay in. We had 10 total people (including 2 young children) and fit very comfortably. Proximity to downtown Ogunquit and Marginal way were amazing. Everything was very clean and the homeowner provided a nice listing of recommended restaurants and activities in the area. Kitchen was well appointed. Would absolutely stay again.

Location, location, location

Well-appointed kitchen. Wonderful deck with comfortable chairs. Living room couch and chairs not so comfortable. We reserved for 6 adults. We were shorted hand towels and washcloths. The manager gave incorrect or insufficient information on four questions. Toilet paper was not provided, and we were not allowed to leave our breakfast dishes clean in the dishwasher on our departure. We would not use this manager again.

I am sorry that you were not satisfied with my performance. I always strive to give renters a pleasant experience and I apologize if that was not the case for you. I am not sure what you are referring to that I gave incorrect or insufficient information, so I can’t address that. In terms of the toilet paper, in the email that you received before your arrival it states: “If any of the staple items (laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, or soft soap) run out, please replace them for the next renter. There is not enough storage space for the owners to leave those supplies for the whole season. It is an honor system and we do appreciate your efforts! There will be enough toilet paper to get you started and a roll of paper towels. For the same reason, you will need to supply these items for your week.” If you had let me know about not having enough face clothes and hand towels, I would have brought you more of those items. The cleaners have a very busy schedule on check out day and that is why we ask that you leave the dishwasher empty. It would take too much of their time if everyone left the dishwasher full of clean dishes. There is also the chance that the dishwasher would have not finished the cycle before their departure leaving a full dishwasher for the new renter. We always hope renters will understand this. The Ritz of Beach Houses!

44 Beachmere is an all-around great property that is simply perfect for extended family or large friend vacations. Here are the highlights: The property is centrally located—about a five minute walk to the Marginal Way, a 10 minute walk to the Cove and about an 8 minute walk to town center. The home was very clean, linens are supplied and house has washer / dryer (and dishwasher). The home has many modern updates—kitchens and baths in particular—but manages to retain the charm of a beach cottage. The entire home is very thoughtfully laid out—the outdoor shower, e.g., has a direct entry to the first floor bathroom for easy and neat beach life to home life transitions. The surrounding yard is rather large and is very private, with tall hedges on all sides. A beautiful, partially-covered wrap-around porch (amply-supplied with porch furniture) provides a nice space for outdoor morning coffee, twilight drinks or midday summer reading. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, serving ware, etc., but also with almost every kitchen gadget imaginable. Games are in the closet for the inevitable rainy day—some great classics like “Battleship” and “Monopoly” only completed this beautiful, well-maintained house’s charm! Well worth the price!

Beachmere bliss!

Wonderful renovated cottage on private setting. Easy walking distance to Marginal Way and all that Ogunquit has an offer. Had an excellent vacation in well equipped, cozy home with modern touches. Family members loved the yard and the porch for quality time together. Property Manage was excellent to deal with as a seamless rental!

It was a beautiful home in a can't beat location.

The home is locate steps to a path that is just a short walk to beautiful views of the ocean. The home is well stocked with all of the supplies you would ever need and then some. They were very easy to work with and had easy to follow instructions on how to manage everything. With in easy walking of the town or take the trolley which drops off very close to the house. The deck is beautiful and plenty big for all of your guests. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Perfect location!

Our family had a wonderful time at this house! The enclosed yard was perfect for 3 young children while the adults enjoyed the beautiful porch. The house was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed! There was plenty of space for 6 adults and 3 children. We made our way to the Marginal Way (Little Beach) almost daily - it was the perfect location and we can't wait to visit again!

Quiet, sunny and cosy!

We loved the time we spent in that beautiful cosy house! The perfect mix with that nice brand new kitchen into and old «beach style» house. We had a great time to cook and to eat together in the kitchen or on the beautiful porch. The location is just perfect: it's a very quiet place, very near the marginal way and we can walk everywhere easily: to the beach, to the boutiques, and to Perkins Cove. We found everything we needed into that house (even some board games to have fun!) and we really appreciated the outdoor shower. This was the best place to be!

Great house and location

The house was a perfect fit for our family of 4, although the house can fit much more. We stayed here with our 2 kids, ages 4 and 2. The house was great for them because of the large, flat yard and the open space on the 1st floor. In addition to this, highlights for us included: open concept from kitchen into living area so we could keep an eye on the kids; updated kitchen; location to restaurants, trolley, main beach, and little beach off the Marginal Way; covered, wrap-around porch; outdoor shower; private yard with green fence which kept the kids from wandering off. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect vacation home!

Perfect house for our family vacation. The house is updated and clean. Lots of sleeping room, with plenty of beds. The outside shower was a nice addition! We have kids and the best part for them was the large yard and wrap around porch. I love that half of the porch is covered for shade. Lots of outdoor seating and a grill, all helped make this vacation perfect. The house is directly on marginal way, we could walk anywhere. Great location, great house, I highly recommend.
