This incredible one-bedroom is available for rent at an affordable price! The Wyndham Canterbury at San Francisco is located at the heart of downtown San Francisco. This resort is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and bars at Union Square, an two blocks from the city's world famous car system. The car system can take you to the golden gate bridge, fisherman's wharf, and china town. The resort has a fitness center, computer room, and game room.

The space available for rent is a one bedroom. The space comes with a partial kitchen with an electric skillet, microwave, refrigerator, cookware and dishes. In the bedroom there is a queen size bed, flat screen TV and a bathroom. The living room has a couch that turns into a double size sofa sleeper with a flat screen TV. There are complimentary laundry rooms on every other floor of the resort building.

The rental is for the entire unit. The resort amenities are shared by all resort guests.

Parking is not included with the rental. Nearby self-parking is available at Butterick Garage (840 Sutter St, San Francisco, CA 94109). Compact and Standard vehicles are $40.00 per night and oversize vehicles are $50.00 per night with in/out privilege. All rates expire at 1PM on day of check out.

The name provided will need to be the name of the person responsible for checking into the room. The name on the reservation with be the only one allowed to check in with the resort front desk. The remaining guests will be added at check in with the resort front desk. ANY CHANGES TO THE GUEST CONFIRMATION ONCE CONFIRMED REQUIRES A $129 CHANGE FEE.

The person responsible for checking into the room with the resort front desk is required to be 21 or over with valid ID. The resort front desk requires a refundable $250.00 credit card hold at check in.

The resort is a Club Wyndham Vacation Resort. The resort front desk assigns all resort rooms. If you have any requests it is best to call the resort front desk 7 days prior to the check in date. The listing photos are of one of the resort rooms. The rooms may vary slightly.

The building was accessible from all manner of transportation - some right outside the building (such as Uber/Waymo) to just down the street - busses/streetcars/cable cars/etc. Easy check-in/out. There was really no way to cook food other than the microwave - no pans or hot plate, etc. The fridge is a mini-fridge (bonus the freezer did keep ice-cream frozen!). The neighborhood appears that it could be rough at times - I gather this more from the security and the need to swipe in/out for the building day or night, as well as just some of the other things just a few blocks away - but I never felt unsafe (even arriving after 10pm multiple nights). The pub on the corner has some great food and decent prices (and happy hour from 3-6!). If you stay here and have a car (which I would recommend Waymo if you don't have to drive outside of their service area - they are awesome!), I'd use Spot Hero and park in the garage at 750 Bush. If you're over 24hrs, it has free in/out privileges and cost me only 144 for a week of parking - in downtown - where a day could easily run you 50 to get in/out privileges.Overall a nice stay at a nice place with nice people at the desk.

Great location, wonderful place to stay. Entire lace was super clean (the most important this for us) and everyone was very friendly. Walking distance to many restaurants. Our room was upgraded, just because and that was amazing!!! We were able to wash clothes and had a full kitchen. Wonderful stay, and if we are ever back in San Francisco we will 100% be staying there again.

Like coming home


After long days of work and fun in San Francisco, it was so nice coming ‘home’ to my place at the Wyndham Canterbury. This boutique property was so well appointed, located on a nice block on Sutter, with very welcoming staff. Thanks for making my busy week so comfortable! I hope to return again.
