Location de vacances. Reserve maintenant! Entièrement meublé comprenant, ustensiles, linge de maison, etc ... 2 chambres, un lit queen, autre lit double + 2 lits jumeaux, 2 foutons dans le salon. Laveuse / sécheuse, cuisine complète de belle taille. Belle terrasse arrière pour cuisiner et s'asseoir et profiter de l'extension du ruisseau bordée d'arbres de la rivière. Écoutez la course du ruisseau et détendez-vous! Beau grand salon ouvert, salle à manger et cuisine avec cheminée. TV grand écran. Grand parking avec salle pour bateau ou camping-car.

The location is great, super close to the river, dam, hiking, restaurants, etc. The house itself could be a lot better (mattresses, dining area, shower pressure, etc). The host was nice and responsive even though it was a holiday, we do appreciate that. Thanks.

Thanks for your review and we try accommodate everyone's needs & also keeping the accommodation minimal. Unfortunately we are not able to control the water pressure, but I will reach out to our local water department to inquire about this low water pressure.

Great get away!

Phil’s lake house was a perfect spot for access to many activities around Canyon lake, the horseshoe and Guene. Its pet friendly too!!

Perfect getaway

Plenty of clean towels and sheets! Very cute home for a good getaway. Had everything we needed. Super convenient to have a dollar store down the street too

Relaxing Retreat!

We truly enjoyed our weekend at the property! The house was very comfortable and roomy. We enjoyed the area and screened in porch was wonderful with no bugs! We will be happy to return in the future! Thanks for allowing us to stay for the soccer game, GO USA!!!

Nice place

Nice place and a good location for restaurants hiking and tubing. Unfortunately for me the traffic noise from the road out the back was a deal breaker. It may not bother others as much.

We absolutely loved the backyard. We made campfires, made smores, listened to the water flowing in the river and the birds chirping! It was such a lovely weekend. The beds in the second bedroom were not very comfortable, but besides that our stay was amazing! We drove over to US Army Corps of Engineers Canyon Lake and Dam, which was just 5-10 mins away. The view of the dam was beautiful! The home was only about 8 mins from a grocery store, which was very convenient!

Such a unique place.

Our stay was over the 4th of July. Everything you need is right there. The dam and overlook park. Also the Guadalupe rivers coldest spot. Dam red barn for some local entertainment. Float river and/or lake, hike the Guadalupe trail, visit the Gorge, kayaking, biking in the neighborhood was very fun. We brought our dog and had a great time walking him in the quiet neighborhood. Air conditioning was exceptional! Screened in porch overlooking a beautiful creek with a small dam. Awesome!

Lake Trip

Home is very cozy. I understand one can’t control the water level of the lake. However, I was very disappointed on just how low it is. It must be this low for a long time as the water is stagnant and the foliage is grown up around the small damn. I would stay here again due to the openness of the home.

Ok stay but not great

Ill start with the good first, it is very quite, and spacious and had most of the amenities we needed. Also Aunte D's restaurant down The road is absolutely amazing. BUT The photos and description need to be updated to what it actually is. The house is in a "neighborhood" not by the lake or river. Both are 20 minutes away. The "waterfall' is actually a stream of water inbetween overgrowth. There is cameras around the property so you feel your being watched. The beds are absolutely horribly uncomfortable. There is NO water pressure in the bathrooms or kitchen. Only 3 burners on the stove worked, the light/fan in the kichem didnt work. The A/C in the living room leaked so we had to keep towels on the floor to prevent a puddle. All the closets were full so we couldnt use them. And the kitchen table was for 4 people not a large goup of 10. Over all this home is set up as a man cave not a family.

Unfortunately your stay was not a good experience for you and your family. As for the spring feed creek in the backyard it is seasonal and the flow rate depends on area rain fall. The water pressure issue I'll have that checked, as that has never been an issue unless the water company is working on the main line. Which happens during drought conditions. As to AC condensation leak and stove malfunction thanks for making me aware of these conditions, which I will promptly correct. The is river (Horseshoe Falls) is 5min and nearest public lake park(Overlook park) less than 5min drive directly behind the house. Lastly as to the man cave description I've tried to keep that to a minimum. As for the security cameras they are only outside the house and turned off as soon as my guests arrive, so that they enjoy their stay in privacy. Thanks for your insightful comments as we continue to improve our accommodations for our guests! Regards

Nice Rustic Home Close to River AND Lake

This was the perfect valued home for being close to both the Guadalupe river and Canyon Lake. If you're lucky to have enough rain then you'll really enjoy the back porch! This house was great for kids with plenty of space to play.
