With 4 queen beds spread across 4 bedrooms, this property is perfect for a group of friends or a large family looking for an enjoyable stay. The 2 bathrooms come equipped with a shower, and hair dryer for your convenience. AC, a washing machine, iron, hair dryer, WiFi, and heating are all available to make your stay excellent. Enjoy all that Great Bend has to offer when you stay at our place. Main floor has 2 bedrooms with a bathroom in between both rooms accessible to everyone on the main floor. Basement has 2 bedrooms that are shared spaces that also share a bathroom. If you need to use both rooms think of it as a hotel room where you have shared living spaces.

An absolutely wonderful property. Spacious, clean and just lovely. One of the nicest rentals I’ve had at a great price. Even though I was traveling for work this time, I know my family and teenagers would be happy here with so much room to spread out, comfy beds, big screen TVs, etc. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Last minute booking for family funeral

We had a family funeral to attend in Great Bend & contacted the host with 2 days notice. The accommodations were perfect. Kitchen had everything we needed. Couldn't stay long but will use again if we come back with the family. Thank you, Alek!

Clean and nice rooms. Very comfortable. The only disappointment was prior to our stay I asked if there was a grill which was yes but the propane tank was empty. We had brought steaks to grill. . I have stayed at many VRBO’s before and always get a phone number to text with the owner. Alec only communicated via email and was not a quick response. Question, how do you turn on the light in the living room? We never could find that switch.

Wetland Butterfly hunt

Kids enjoyed the ping pong table and games while the adults enjoyed a beautiful evening on the deck. Beautiful big hose with plenty of space for everyone.

Nice house in Quaint Great Bend

The house was very spacious for our group. The fenced-in backyard was perfect for our 2 dogs. The town was decorated for Christmas and had a drive-through Christmas lights display, which we enjoyed. The only negative was that the dishwasher didn't work—hopefully, it will be replaced soon.

This property is okay, but definitely not senior citizen friendly. You cannot walk from one room to another without having to walk up and down at least two or three steps, even to bathroom from the living room you have to go up and down steps and then going to the kitchen again up and down steps. Then to the dining room you have to go down four steps and this is all on the main floor. Also, to enter the house there are three concrete steps and no safety rails which is a violation of a safety code where I live at and dangerous to senior citizens.

Traveling through Kansas and stayed one night. Family of 5 (including Grandparents in their 80s).The house was sparkling clean. Very well decorated. Bedding was soft, new and clean. We cooked a meal (grocery store is two blocks away) and the kitchen had everything we needed. The basement with ping pong was a BLAST! The backyard was great for our little dog. The owners communication prior was friendly and informative. I highly recommend this home.

Christmas stay

House was supposed to have 4 beds but 1 had a broken frame and was unusable. We needed 4 beds. Also the dishwasher was broken and didn’t work. If we had known this, we wouldn’t have rented this house. We feel that we should be refunded part of the rent for the inconvenience it caused. Owner should have listed deficiencies before renting it.

Host was great to work with, they allowed us to check in early for a small fee which was much appreciated since we were traveling with a one-year-old. House was cute but it has a very unusual lay out, lots of random stairs and step down type of areas, this was not ideal for young children and elderly folks, we had multiple missteps happen while staying here. There also were no instructions on how to do anything or use any features in the house. this wasn't a huge issue aside from the TV in the main living room, none of us could figure out how to work it properly. For the yard, there was a ridiculous amount of dog poop and cigarette butts in the yard deeming it unusable. Overall we enjoyed our stay and made the best of it.

The house was very clean, and very comfortable to stay in with my family. All 4 beds were very comfortable to sleep in, and my children really appreciated the ping pong table and games that were available. TVs were in each room which was nice. I deducted one star because we had communication issues getting into the house... I tried calling and texting the owner about the code, but he finally got back to me after quite a bit of time. Apparently if you book this via Expedia (which is the mistake I made), you still have to download the VRBO App in order to communicate and receive check in messages from owner. Also deducted one star because we were asked to start a load of laundry upon checkout, and with the price I had to pay for one night, I didn't appreciate having to do any cleaning other than stripping my beds. Also, the washer and dryer already had items in it that I had to deal with. Other than that, I would recommend this house and would stay again if I am up in the area.
