Ocean Front Cottage avec une belle plage privée et le lac des eaux scintillantes

Notre chalet a été mis à jour avec une cuisine moderne et une salle de bain mise à jour avec laveuse et sécheuse. Cottage a deux petites chambres, chacune avec un lit queen. Le salon a un canapé pliant pour permettre un couchage supplémentaire. Les équipements incluent Internet haut débit, télévision par satellite, barbecue, lave-vaisselle et climatisation murale. Grand espace pour marcher et jouer et une courte promenade sur notre chemin vers notre plage spectaculaire. Une seule autre maison située sur notre trentaine d'hectares et entourée d'un champ si privé. Notre propriété comprend la moitié du lac des eaux brillantes des livres d'Anne of Green Gables et est située à moins d'un mile du musée Anne of Green Gables. Vous pouvez passer la journée à vous détendre paisiblement sur la propriété ou vous aventurer dans les nombreux sites et activités à proximité, notamment les musées Anne, la plage de Cavendish et le parc national, et les toboggans aquatiques et les parcs à thème sont à vingt minutes en voiture. Il y a aussi de nombreux terrains de golf, pistes cyclables et attractions locales, y compris la pêche en haute mer. Notre région est un paradis des gourmets avec les marchés fermiers, les bouchers et les producteurs locaux et tous les fruits de mer que vous pouvez imaginer à proximité. Il y a aussi de nombreux restaurants. Kensington est une petite ville à dix minutes qui a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour les fournitures de base. Summerside est la deuxième plus grande ville de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard et se trouve à une demi-heure de route avec tous les commerces et les commodités d'une petite ville canadienne, y compris Walmart et d'autres magasins, d'excellentes épiceries, de nombreux restaurants de chaîne (McDonald's, Wendy's, Tim Hortons, etc.) et un écran multi-écran cinéma. Il a également une scène théâtrale et musicale bien développée. Charlottetown avec toute son histoire, ses festivals et ses commodités est à environ 45 minutes en voiture. TOUTES LES LOCATIONS FONCTIONNENT DU SAMEDI AU SAMEDI.

Amazing location!

This is a very pretty and simple cottage located in a gorgeous location. We stayed for six nights and loved it. Yes, there are a lot of bugs and the outside deck needs work, but the location and beach more than made up for any drawbacks. We would definitely stay here again!

Our second stay at this beach house and the views/beach make it worth the visit... Nice to have the private beach available, both for us and our dog! Some of the best sunsets on the Island! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, prompt response to any requests we had. Thank you!

Dream location!

The cottage is a true beach house, with 360 views that are to die for, and the most amazing pristine beach/red rocks you could wish for.. we could not believe how beautiful it was! We walked/drove through golden canola fields to get to the cottage/beach, against blue blue skies.. truly a dream come true. Thank you for sharing this idyllic site with us!

Perched on a bluff

We chose this property because of the location, and we were not disappointed! It is private, very quiet, close to beach and surrounded by birds and water! The beds and furniture were comfortable, the WiFI, TV etc worked great, and good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Good drinkable water a plus this close to the ocean. Kitchen well stocked, with new dishes, etc. We understand this property took a beating from Hurricane Fiona last fall, which resulted in a lot of repairs. The deck could use some improvements, but still a great place to watch the sunsets and sunrises! We really enjoyed our time at the house and are grateful we could bring our dog. She loved the daily walks on the beach and playing in the beautiful green lawn. The caretaker Stacey was great, very helpful etc.

Location, location, location

The location of the cottage is terrific. The ocean and beach views are spectacular from sunrise to sunset. Any misgivings we had about the cottage were tempered by the wonderful scenery. The cottage is very basic. Lots of windows to view the beautiful scenery. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of living room seating, a dining area for six, and a large kitchen counter that made entertaining and food preparation convenient. We entertained family and friends and everyone seemed pleased with the interior layout. The cottage exterior needs work. The deck is large but is in very poor condition. The winds and precipitation have taken a toll on the building. There is a new BBQ that works well. There is limited patio furniture that only accommodates 2 guests. Luckily we brought our own umbrella and deck chairs so that we could entertain guests on the deck. Here is our overall impression of the property: If you look at the exterior of the cottage you will be disappointed; if you look at the interior of the cottage, you will happily surprised; and if you look at the scenery you will be happy with your choice of rental.

Une visite en famille

Beau séjour en général mais avec des déceptions: la plage est difficile d’accès, le balcon manque d’amour, la climatisation était insuffisante et les moustiquaires sont franchement à changer. La plage de Brackley est magnifique et les paysages superbes.

Location, location, location!

This was our second time staying here and it’s the location — the views, the sunsets, the easy beach access — that keep us coming back. The cottage itself isn’t fancy, but it has everything you’d need. Murray is terrific to deal with. He was super flexible and even let us push our dates back to coincide with PEI’s reopening dates. We had a great 2 weeks of Island living and can’t wait for our next visit!

We would go back here in a minute!If you’re looking for peace & quiet with a fabulous beach that’s pet friendly this is it.10-15 minute beautiful drive if you’re looking for things to do but as we’ve been to PEI many times it was the best relaxing vacation we’ve ever had!

Incredible location

The location of this house is amazing. Located centrally, there is easy access to groceries, restaurants, Charlottetown, Anne of Green Gables sites and the beach. The view is the best on the island. If you are looking for peace, quiet and gorgeous sunsets - this is it. The house is more than sufficient but don't expect granite counters and comfy recliners. This did not keep us from staying here for the fourth year in a row!

beautiful acreage private beach but cottage in need of an update

We enjoyed the private beach and privacy of this lovely piece of PEI. We unfortunately left 4 days early because the cottage itself needs a good cleaning and decent bedding in order for us to feel comfortable sleeping at night or being indoors in the evenings. The bugs of course on a beach front are to be expected- windows that do not open or have inadequate or dirty old screens left a lot to be desired and we had terrible sleeps on old bedding and in both badly ventilated rooms.... bring your own pillows and linens for sure. Also not mentioned is the fact that although you have private beach access, and it is only a little short lovely walk away, the cottage is actually on a very high cliff and perhaps not suitable for small kids.. We would love to come back if only we had a better inside cottage experience and a good night sleep.

We live in Calgary Canada but fell in love with PEI twenty years ago and have been spending our summers there ever since, buying our property in 2001 and developing our two cottages. This smaller cottage is the original property that we have fully renovated and updated

There is no other property on the island like our property. It is in the most beautiful area of Prince Edward Island and is on the ocean with its own beach and lake. It is ocean front. It is also close to every thing that you could want to do on the island. It is away from it and all very peaceful but also close enough so that you can get everything you need and see most of PEI's best attractions.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Having over 30 acres on the ocean with over 2000 feet of frontage is very rare. We have our own beautiful beach with a stream running through it, a boardwalk and amazing sand dunes. The views are second to none.
