Our stay got off to a frustrating start because we were not provided with the correct information needed to access the home upon arrival. It took three phone calls and several text messages before we finally received the correct access details. We were told the entry code had been changed but the updated information had not been properly relayed or documented. As a result, my elderly father and I were left waiting outside for approximately 20 minutes before we could enter the property. After a three hour drive to the property, this was a huge inconvenience.Although the arrival information included a disclaimer regarding possible pests and stated that the home had been professionally treated, we encountered a very live and active cockroach on the table during our stay. This was concerning given the assurances provided.We also discovered that the toilet seat was completely disconnected from the toilet upon arrival, requiring a maintenance request. While the issue was eventually resolved, it took approximately four hours.Additionally, the Wi-Fi password provided in the arrival email was incorrect. After contacting guest services, we were given several alternative passwords that did not work. We were eventually told someone would follow up with the correct information, but no follow-up ever occurred.The property itself had potential, but the repeated communication failures, maintenance issues, and pest concern negatively affected our overall experience.
