Perfect Location, Comfort, and Cleanliness

Location was 5 minutes away from red hook ferry, making it easy to get to dinner spots and beaches. Villa was brand new with lots of special touches, such as a spice rack, new grill, soft sheets, thick towels, and full sized washer and dryer. The villa was very clean as well.

2023 St John Family Trip

Wonderful experience. The entire family had a great time. The Tuttle family made our trip over the top for us. The Villa was beautiful with everything and more that you would need. We will be sharing this trip with everyone we know for many years.

Beautiful home

Absolutely the best time. Everything was perfect. Communication was wonderful. We had a family of 6 and had plenty of room for all. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots and pans lots of spices. Everything you could possibly need. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!

Beautiful home

The home is beautiful and very clean and well appointed. Loved the nice addition of a speaker. We loved having a big cooler, nice chairs and umbrella. Snorkeling gear was ok, We had some difficulty with a couple of the snorkels not working properly. I enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards to see the turtles in the bay and the beach is a short walk from the home. The view is ok, you can see some water from the master bedroom balcony. Close location to Cruz Bay. A great place to stay overall.

Great place, but...

Excellent property, but trying to get into the place was an ordeal (45min) before we were finally given the lockbox code for the physical key. Not enough hot water (especially downstairs) and low water pressure in 2/4 bathrooms. Hot tub cover was flooded and almost impossible to get off. But don't let these minor problems deter. It's a great property and I've stayed at a lot of properties.

Dear Kurt, Thank you for your recent stay and for being a valued guest. We sincerely apologize for the initial entry difficulties. We have since installed a new electronic keypad to prevent future occurrences. We also regret the inconvenience caused by the hot water and water pressure issues, which we were unaware of during your stay. Had we known, we would have addressed them immediately. We are currently investigating the matter. Regarding the hot tub cover, our technician has confirmed that a replacement is necessary, and we have placed an order for one, as local availability is limited. We appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you back in the future.

A Fabulous Vacation Spot!!

The Pirates Landing was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean for our arrival! It was well appointed, well located and had plenty of room for the 6 of us, we all enjoyed our stay! They have thought of just about everything you need to make your trip stress-free - from shampoo and conditioner, as well as body wash, tons of quality beach towels and beach gear.We loved everything about our stay here!! Everything is brand new and the pictures don't do it justice! It's only a short walk to the beach! We kayaked, paddle boarded and went snorkeling; everything was included. The bay here was the best spot on the island for seeing sea turtles. It was also a quick drive to town; we went out every evening! We all had a great time and highly recommend staying at The Pirates Landing!!

Our family had an outstanding vacation here!!

Our family all loved our stay at this brand new villa! We had one of our most fun vacations here! Standing tall at the entrance is a huge pirate that we all took pictures with, we named him Jack Sparrow, haha! The place was better than we expected, and absolutely immaculate upon our arrival. It was a great to stay in such a beautiful, very modern, brand new accommodation! Everything in this villa is top-notch!! We loved that the beach was so close and went often. The kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkeling provided were very much appreciated. We saw lots of sea turtles. Basking in the sun and swimming in the sea was wonderful!! The town and grocery stores were only a quick drive away!! The owners and team were a delight, they were very responsive and helpful!! I highly recommend, 5-stars plus!

St John Lovely Unit Short Walk From Beach

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The management team running the property (among others) was very communicative and we really had no problems with getting in / access to information etc. They also offered access to pre-stocking our kitchen, which came in very handy! The island is lovely and we enjoyed having our Jeep to get around to various beaches and this location is very close to Cruz Bay. While the unit was very modern and relatively close to the beach (just as 2 min walk around the building), our only issue with the unit was hot water. We really did not have anything but luke-warm water in the two very nice upstairs bathrooms. We were given the advice to try to run the water longer so that it could heat up, but that never did fix the issue. And we even then had issues with the downstairs bathroom water temperature as well. This would be the reason we did not rate it 5-stars. All in all, very nice stay!
