This is a self check-in unit, detailed instructions will be sent prior to your arrival for a smooth and easy entry.

The studio features 1 queen-size bed and can accommodate a maximum of 2 guests.

No pets are allowed in the unit.

Third-party bookings are not allowed, the person booking must be the one staying in the unit.

Please note that there is no AC in the unit. A fan is provided to help with air circulation during warmer days.

The entrance is located on the west side of the building, separate from the main entrance.

Shared laundry facilities are available on the main floor of the building.

Paid parking is available in the back alley on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note that the building is older and may show signs of wear, such as water stains on the ceiling, marks on the walls, or minor scuffs and imperfections throughout the space. That said, the unit is kept clean, comfortable, and fully functional for your stay.

Smoke Smell Disclosure:
While our unit is strictly non-smoking, please be aware that the building includes other tenants who are not under our management, and some of them may smoke. Despite our best efforts to remind them and thoroughly clean the unit, smoke smell may occasionally linger. An air purifier is available upon request.
By booking this property, you acknowledge this condition has been clearly communicated, and refunds or cancellations due to smoke smell will not be accepted.

Public transportation is nearby, making it easy to get around without a car.

Please observe quiet hours and treat the space with care out of consideration for neighbors.

Our original reservation was cancelled without explanation about 6 weeks prior to the Rotary Convention. This one was still available at a very affordable rate. Directions were fine but we could only access the alley entrance — what permanent residents referred to as “Crack Alley.” The graffiti made its nickname seem appropriate. The first code didn’t work but the manager came out with the new one that worked. Sadly the push buttons for the elevator were cracked and dirty but it got us where we needed to go. When we opened our room it was sorely lacking in the advertised furnishing: no night stands, no chairs, no closet, broken refrigerator. Very few utensils, construction noise from remodeling nearby after hours. There were about a dozen Rotarians we met at Neff who were treated the same way. Not a good first appearance for Canada for our overseas guests. We left one day early and would like to request a day’s refund.

City Haven Review

Though there were some issues with the property, (elevator not working, neighbors fighting/noise at all hours, homeless breaking into building, drug addicts); I will say this: the host "Joan" and RM "Barry" were great. They went above and beyond to make sure the stay was as good as it could be. I hope the building comes together, and wish those two the best. Location wise/area it is ideal for a traveler. Just a few issues need work, then I believe this place could really hold its own. Thank you for your hospitality and time!
